Nicolas was just waiting for everything to come to an end and cooperated right away when asked to turn back around.

He already cooperated with providing his PIN for his bank card so the current thing being asked of him seemed trivial in comparison.

The sooner his captors could confirm he was being cooperative and had retrieved his buy-in funds, the sooner they would come to know how he was ready to be initiated into their group without giving them any trouble.

He could already see himself being accepted and being given all kinds of support and training so that he could come out of it all much better than before.

His freedom was within his grasp so he only needed to be patient and cooperative for a little while longer until he was finally freed from his restraints.
