It was late in the evening, Alicia just finished having her bath and was getting ready to go to bed when her phone screen lit up.

She grabbed the phone from her nightstand drawer and stared at her phone screen.

Braxton sent a message.

BRAXTON: I would like to take you out tomorrow night, are you chanced?

She couldn't believe it.

She waited for a few minutes and even pinched herself just to be sure that she wasn't dreaming or making it up.

But it was true.

Braxton Skye messaged her willingly on his own.

Is that a sign of improvement.

She bit on her lower lip, not sure of what her response will be.

How can a woman so powerful as her, a woman feared by men and women be so hopeless for a young guy like him?
