Asher made it to Manhattan in time to make his flight out of the country. He hated that he was bothered about something but couldn't put a finger on it until he remembered what June told him.

(If you cared anything for Pepper you won't let her go to the reunion alone)

"Are you alright?" Duke asked.

"Yeah, Pepper has this thing I should be there for but I can't be in two places at the same time"

"You can always go to the Caribbean tomorrow, LT" Duke told him

"I know that but nothing comes before my daughter. Nothing, Duke"

Pepper arrived at the reunion just the right amount of late. She could see most of her classmates entering with spouses or boyfriends and some like her were without a date.

She made her way inside and she stopped at the table to pick up her name tag.

"Name please?"

"Pepper…I mean Callie Hart"
