Chapter 39: Let's piss off Mrs devil

"I am going to be dead in six months and you just robbed me of the chance of having a mother for the second time. Yes, you should be sorry" 

Asher watched his kid angrily before she banged the door after her. What did she just say to him? Starr knew better than to say that to him. He didn't need a reminder that six months was all he had with her if no intervention was made.

He went after her and found her with her face down in her room crying. He picked her up and he carried her outside to his car. The last thing he needed was for Pepper to start asking questions he had no interest in providing the answers for. 

He opened the car and placed her in the back seat, he entered the backseat and locked the door after him.

"You can't ever say that to me, do you hear me?" 

"But it's true. We can't pretend it's not true, daddy. I am going to be dead!" She yelled at him.
