Logan knew she would be interrupting a big meeting for her best friend but Asher needed to know before he was blindsided.

She opened the door to the conference room and there he was with his board of directors.

"Sorry. Asher, I need a word with you" Logan waved at him but Asher looked around the room.

"Can't you see he is in the middle of a very important meeting with the rest of us now that he deemed the company important enough to run?" Nikka Fuentes asked Logan.

You will still be a stuck up bitch when he returns! Logan wanted to yell at Nikka but she didn't. Instead, she smiled. The smile was as fake as Nikka's boobs.

"It will only be a minute, Ms. Fuentes" Asher told her and excused himself to talk to Logan.

Soon, they were outside the conference room and Logan was handing over a file to him.
