Chapter 90: Enough of Asher to go around 

Asher drove his family home and they all sang along to the song playing on the stereo. What started out as a gloomy day was beginning to turn out well.

"Mom, Dad I have a game on Wednesday evening. I obviously made the baseball team and now, we have a game" Starr told both of them.

"Sorry kid, no can do! Your father and I have our first ever real date on Wednesday" Pepper told her bluntly.

Starr took off her seatbelt to take a peep at Pepper's face.

"Starr, put back your seatbelt right this second young lady!" Asher tried not to take his eyes off the road.

Starr sat back down and placed her seat belt back on.

"I know you are new to motherhood, mom but you are supposed to put my interest first" Starr told her.

Asher chuckled like it was a joke. "Honey, don't hold your breath on that"
