Bounty Hunter System
A young man lay on the flat ground covered by grass. He had his eyes closed and had a slight smile on his face. Enjoying the gentle touch of the sunlight.
His smile suddenly changed into a smirk when he heard the notification in his head. He opened his eyes and stood up. His eyes shone brightly and he chuckled.
"The Bounty Hunter System installation is complete."
"Commencing World Scan for Bounties."
"Scan Complete."
"Bounties have been updated."
"Scanning Host."
"Scan Complete. Updating Status."

"HAHA! Finally!" The young man shouted excitedly as he punched the air in celebration. It took him a couple of minutes to calm his emotions. He sat on the ground and started conversing with the thing in his head.
"System, how do I level up?" Asked the young man.
'The host will receive XP by hunting those people with bounties. Hunting someone without a bounty will not give you any XP.
'You will only be able to gain XP from those with a bounty of 1,000,000 Bellies and above. You will be able to gain 100 XP if you hunted someone with a bounty of 1,000,000 bellies. Every increase of 100,000 Bellies will grant you an additional 10 XP.' The AI voice sounded in his head.
"Ok, that seems unreasonable. If I can only gain XP, isn't it better for me just to train myself? I am pretty sure I could achieve higher than what you are providing me. Right now, I am just a weak, young man in this world. Even if a million is just a tiny figure in the grand scheme of things, how can I even match them with my weak strength?" The young man, named Rai replied after some calculation. Although he wasn't smart, he was not dumb.
"The system is just here to assist the host in his bounty hunting journey. So the host will have have to train to gain a notable increase in power. Still, the System provides Tasks for you to complete. Completing a Task will give you rewards." the System replied.
"Then that is good. So is there any Task present for me now?" Rai asked again. He was pretty excited earlier regarding what the system could do, but to think that it was just that. It was disappointing.
'Task will be available after you open the Starter Pack.' the words of the System surprised Rai.
"Okay, then open the Starter Pack." He urged with great expectations.
'Started Pack opened. Congratulations on receiving a Great Grade Gauntlets, Advanced Boxing Skill, Advanced Cooking Skill, and Skillful Grade Adjustable Body Weights.'
'Great Grade Gauntlets: It will enhance your attack by 50 percent.
-You will be immune to 10 percent of any damage.'
'Adjustable Body Weights: You will be able to adjust how much they weigh. With a limit of 500 kilograms.'
'Host, do you want to integrate the Advanced Boxing Skill and Advanced Cooking Skill?'
"Gulp! Yes, please!" Rai gulped in amazement. His initial disappointment was wiped out in an instant. To think that the system had the ability to give him skills, it was mind-blowing.
Immediately after his reply, his eyes went blank and 'memories' of experience in boxing and cooking merged in his brain.
His body also produced cracking sounds and he kept feeling weird sensation from his muscles. It was like they were adjusting to match the experience that was merging with his brain.
"Hooh!" After a minute, Rai released a breath. He felt ultimately refreshed.
"This feels great!" He said in contentment. Although his stats did not increase, he could feel that his body was more efficient in performance. His flexibility and control of his body improved tremendously.
'Do you want to withdraw the Great Grade Gauntlets and Adjustable Body Weights?' the system inquired.
"Yes, please." Rai could barely contain his smile. And his pair of red eyes glimmered in excitement.
A pair of Gauntlets and the weights suddenly appeared floating just parallel his head. He did not have time to react before they dropped on the ground.
He picked the pair black metal Gauntlets. As the name suggests, it was gloves made of metal. But when he wore it, the inside was cloth. It was soft and comfortable. It fit perfectly on his hands.
He was reminded of a scene in a certain movie.
"I am inevitable." With a snap of his fingers... nothing happened.
"Haha, this is great, the effects are also great. Now let's try those weights." He buckled up the weights in his body. "System, do you have a storage function? It would be awkward if I carry this gauntlet in town."
'You can only access 1 cubic meter of the inventory. Please level up to upgrade the capacity.' the system replied.
Although he was a little disappointed with the meager space, it was still a good thing.
He sighed and said, "Okay then store this pair of gauntlets, I am going to to try those weights." The gauntlets that he was wearing disappeared, stored in the cold inventory.
There was a pair for the wrist and legs. And another for his body.
He removed his clothes before strapping everything, he adjusted the weights to five kilograms each and he was still able to jog. It seemed imbalanced, so he added 5 more for his weight vest. He was now carrying a total of 30 kilograms, but since they were distributed around his body, it felt a lot lighter. He then covered the weights with his clothes before stretching out his body to adjust.
"Well, it's about time I return." He murmured before jogging, his destination: Home. It was nearing lunch and he felt hungry from the excitement he experienced earlier.
He then jogged and exited the small patch of grassland. The place he was lying down earlier was actually part of a small park, in the middle of this city. He found it by coincidence when he was going around looking for information.
This was the capital of the Goa Kingdom, it was bustling with life. People were well dressed and many were smiling and laughing. This was a place filled with nobility.
Even if your house was on the edge capital, you would still be well off. That was because you are still a noble. And in this kingdom, the nobility is the most powerful. They view themselves as the best in the world just because of their titles as nobles.
Rai almost died of laughter when he heard this. It was the most hilarious thing he ever heard in his life. It also proved that this place is just a little, tiny backwater city. The people don't know a thing from the outside world. They did not know that they were just a little, tiny figures in this world. And that their kingdom is just a backwater village compared to those in the Grand Line.
Nearly a month ago, Rai suddenly woke up in a different bed. He also possessed another young man's body. A 17-year-old young man from a small family of three. But although the young man had parents, they never gave any attention to him. They just focused on their own work.
Feeling depressed, the young man committed suicide, but that was also the time when Rai took over his body. Their memories fused and thanks to that, Rai found out that, the other Rai, his predecessor was actually adopted. The memories of the baby Rai (his predecessor) proved that fact.
Unfortunately, Rai (from another world) found the memories hazy. But even then, he ignored it.

After a day in this world, he finally figured it out. He was in the One Piece World. To think that he would suddenly get transported to his favorite anime, it was very surprising.
He was Rai Kiri, a young man on Earth living a normal life. A healthy otaku life where he basked in the glory of watching thousands of episodes of anime, reading millions of words of web novels. He spent countless hours watching movies, it was a satisfying life.

He did not know what happened to his body on Earth, but he knew that there was an 80 percent chance that he was dead. He also knew that his parents were grieving. It made him sad and angry just thinking about it.
Even if this was his favorite anime, the enjoyment from watching it is already enough. He just wanted to live a peaceful life.
His anger burst through the roof and he sent a middle finger as a gift in the heavens.
As if the gods got scared of his anger to them, a system suddenly appeared in his head. But it needed 25 days to finish the installation.
For over ten days, he toiled for information from newspapers, trying to find out what timeline he was in. And finally, after those hard work, he had an estimate. He should be just less than three months before the plot starts.
But who cares about the plot. He just wanted to find out so that he would know what events would follow. You are the protagonists of your own life, and since you are here, then why not become the protagonist of the story?
After he found that out, he continuously went on a journey in the dock, trying to figure out how to get out of this damned place. When he figured it out, he planned how to get out while waiting for the system to finish installing.
And finally, it led to this moment.

Reaching home, Rai removed the weights and stored them in the inventory.
When he entered the kitchen, his aura suddenly changed into that of an experienced chef. He took out a preserved meat from the 'ref' and other vegetables that he instinctively felt that would go together with the meat.
He then proceeded to make steak for his lunch. It was the most delicious meal he ever had.
With a filled stomach, he entered his bedroom and directly went to seat on his chair. He also had a table that was filled with paper, maps to be precise. A calendar was also pinned on the wall just above his table. The dates were 'X' marked and there were 5 more days before another month starts.
With a grin, he took out a marker from the drawer and encircled a date. It was the day after tomorrow, the day that he will leave this place. It was also the day that he knew, a navy ship from Loguetown was coming to recruit some young marines to join the navy.
But before that, he had to prepare. He smiled wickedly before jotting down some things on his map.
