Again, they stood by their words, not daring to avert their gaze from the scarred prince. This was one risk that they couldn't take. Gabriel was a vampire with the heart of a beast. No way would they risk going through the path of pain. 

Well, Dav wasn't the one fuming in anger and desire to kill. If there was anyone who yearned for Eliza more at that moment, then it would be Seth.

He hated the words he had just heard from the witches and at the same time, he asked himself what Gabriel must have done to these witches that they seemed to be so scared of him. They have him being referred to as their 'master.'
