Chapter 197: The Princess Is Awake

Alaina picked up her own duffle bag, leaving the bag Ashton gave here there on the floor as walked back to the foyer and decided to just crash on the couch on the side of the living room that had the fire place.

As if her misfortune wasn't done with her yet, the fire place was also not lit tonight, leaving the place pitch black, save from the small amount of moonlight coming in thru the windows, and freezing cold.

Thankfully she remembers packing a small fleece in her stuff and she picked it out of her bag as she settled herself on the couch. Well, as her only silver lining, at least the couch was huge and comfortable. 

The fleece wasn't so big, Alaina had to bunch herself to fit in it and apparently not so very warm either. But after trying for a while she was finally able to feel herself going to sleep even if she was cold.
