Chapter 73: Night is Dark and Wind is Cold

Night is dark and the wind is cold, she runs and runs with only a little white night dress on her tiny body. Her steps were bare footed and the tiny sticks on the forest grounds were doing showing her no mercy, just like the harsh cold dew falling from the hanging tree leaves as she runs.

The little girl's hair were loose from her scrunchie as the silky dark tresses flow around from her fast movement. Her feet were hurting and she was freezing in the chilly night but she couldn't stay here, she needs to get away from here.

She looks behind her shoulder and all she could see is darkness, utter consuming dark that kept following her no matter how fast she runs, no matter how far she goes.

  A voice reaches out to her, a wretched voice that had sharp teeth of cruelty gritting on her ear drums. The voice kept toying with her ever so seldom, appearing and going, teasing her by tingling her ear like a gust of wind.
