Chapter 146: My Hands Are Bound

She walked in closer to see the gash on her head still there but now bleeding lesser. Her ankle still twisted to a horrific angle, the cuts still deep and mud stuck on them. The only thing improved was her breathing. 

Where she was breathing slow and faintly before Ivar went into the room with her, was now normal paced and when Alaina put her ear near her chest, her heart beat at a normal rate not how Ivar had explained it to be faint and far apart spaced before.

Aria's skin also looked to be normal from that sickening pale pasty look as she saw her in before. And now she was even moving her fingers. And fluttering her closed eyelids as if she was in pain. 

She indeed was out of danger of losing her life, that much was evident. Her suffering however was not replaced by tranquility.
