Chapter 1: Prologue - Brothers through Bond
Tales of two young men spread throughout the world, men who's powers were unrivalled. The name's Naruto Uzumaki and Sasuke Uchiha rang loud throughout the world after the Fourth Great Ninja War, after Naruto and Sasuke's efforts against The Akatsuki and Kaguya Otsutsuki. After the war, the two went their own paths.
Sasuke Uchiha. A man who spent the majority of his life blinded by hatred and revenge was saved from the darkest abyss by his best friend. Though Sasuke undeniably played a grand role is saving the Shinobi World, Sasuke still committed many crimes during the years since he'd left Konoha. Sasuke embarked on a journey across the world, to open his eyes and see the wonders he'd ignored all this time. Sasuke promised to come home one day.

Stood at the village gates were Naruto, Sakura and Sasuke. They were seeing Sasuke off as he departed from the village. "You sure you have everything you need?" Naruto asked. Sasuke nodded in response. "I didn't need much, a little money and some ninja tools, and that's all." Sasuke noted. "I'll be gone for a good while, I'm not sure exactly when I'll return, my journey may be cut short or it may last longer than I anticipate." Sasuke added. "In the meantime..." Sasuke looked towards Naruto and smiled. "Just try not to get yourself into too much trouble, knucklehead" Naruto laughed in response. Sasuke looked toward Sakura, the young woman wore a clearly unhappy expression. "Sakura..." Sakura looked up at him, teary eyed. "I'm sorry. To make you watch me leave again". The young man placed his hand on her shoulder. "But I'll be back one day. Just wait until then." Sasuke finished. Sakura wiped her eyes. "R-Right, I will..." She responded. Sasuke raised his hand and flicked her on the forehead, just as his older brother Itachi used to do when he was young. Sasuke turned around began walking away. "Until next time." Sasuke said as he left the village behind for the last time.

Naruto scratched his head. "Man, I'm starving! I'll see you later!" Sakura turned to Naruto in shock. "Wait, you're not gonna ask me on a date for once?" Sakura asked in surprise. Naruto snickered. "Nah, you have Sasuke. Besides, I'm meeting up with Hinata for lunch" Naruto answered. A mischievous smile spread across Sakura's face. She, as well as everyone else knew how much Hinata loved Naruto, yet somehow Naruto was completely oblivious to it. "You are, are you?" Sakura asked slyly. She patted him on the back before walking off. "Good luck, knucklehead" She said ominously as she walked away. "Huh? Good luck? With what!?" Naruto asked in confusion.
Then there was Naruto Uzumaki. The boy once scorned as the Jinchuriki of the Nine Tails, Kurama, but now the village hero and world respected Shinobi. Naruto would continue to pursue his goal of becoming Hokage, but unlike in his childhood, his mission was different. He wasn't doing it for recognition anymore, now he wanted to create a peacefully and happy future for the next generations. Naruto still had a lot to learn before he could ever become Hokage, but he was ready to learn.
Over the years, the two experienced exciting events. Events that taught them lessons they'd carry for the rest of their lives. Sasuke helped the people of the world, no matter how small the task, seeing for himself the wonders of the world and the people who inhabit it. Naruto continued to get stronger and stronger, even helping teach young kids at the Ninja academy.
Then came the time of adulthood. Naruto and Sasuke had learned a lot, they'd grown a lot too. Here's a familiar story, the day the Shinobi of Konoha set off to save Hinata's sister, Hanabi Hyuga and prevent the moon from crashing into the Earth. They met a man named Toneri Otsutsuki, a man who wanted to marry Hinata and planned to use the power of the Tenseigan to punish humanity for weaponising Chakra. Ultimately, Naruto brought him down and rescued Hanabi. Toneri chose to stay on the moon and watch the Earth from afar. Thanks to Toneri, Naruto was finally made aware of Hinata's feelings for him. Not too long after, Hinata and Naruto became a happily married couple, and eventually the two had two kids. Boruto Uzumaki and Himawari Uzumaki. Boruto more closely ressembled his father while Himawari ressembled Hinata.
This is the story of that young boy, Boruto Uzumaki. Finding his place in the Shinobi World, learning who he is.
