Chapter 23: Punishment (1)
~Mentrol School, Boy's Dormitory~
' Hu... I thought things were supposed be easy not this way. Aaaa... this old fella is really something. I have to take things seriously. ' Hedrick fell on his bed while breathing rapidly.
Kim and Xia then approached him followed by Prosper behind.
' What punishment did they give you? 'Xia asked curiously.
Hedrick turned his head lazily and looked at the two before answering. Beads of sweat were covering the whole of his face full of frustration. He wanted nothing but just end this whole situation within the peak of time. Unfortunately, this was just the taste, he had not even began the real punishment.
' Cleaning the RRO's office for a month morning and evening. ' Hedrick finally replied taking his head back to his bed.
' Aaaaa... that hell fire compared to a furnace. " Kim replied.
' What's wrong with that. I think it's quite easy to do. ' Prosper replied with an innocent face. He was quite good with strength but when it came to thinking, he could be considered a mug. They turned their heads and looked at the person speaking. Xia moved with a dewy - eyed smiled dabbing Prosper by his shoulder.
' What's wrong? Am I wrong? " Prosper asked with a queer look on his face.
' Okay I'll explain. Hedrick will have to clean morning and evening meaning he will have to run from dorm to his destination that is in kilometers distance. He will also have to wake up earlier than us to do this and make sure he is on time before the lessons begin. Should I continue or do you finally get it? ' Kim replied. Kim was the second youngest with Xia next to Hedrick in the room. But his character and before was always adult-like and always made an effort to solve problems he could. He could be considered a genius of his own generation.
' I now understand. Hedrick has to clean every morning and evening. But to do that he has to wake up earlier than us and run a big distance without help. He always has to make sure he is not late for the lessons. I think this is quite problematic to handle. Brother has to hustle with his own muscles every day. ' Prosper analysed with a pitiful look on his face.
' One is trouble. The other two suck and the last one is a mongoloid. A bunch of sh*t. ' Olivier retorted with a mocking smile on his face.
' You... ' Xia frowned his face looking at the departing back of Olivier.
' Don't mind him. ' Kim resounded.
' Brother Kim, what is a mongoloid? ' Prosper asked. Kim looked at him while laughing in his heart before answering.
' You can also take it as a fool or idiot. 'Kim before turning his head.
' Oooo... so who is the fool? ' Prosper inquired innocently.
' Olivier of course. ' Xia answered with a smile.
' I guess I should first go and take a shower. ' Hedrick said.
' Okay. Don't forget to come for supper. ' Xia replied.
Hedrick nodded his head with moving to the bathroom as the rest left his room for supper. Inside the bathroom, Hedrick was taking a shower only to have a big headache causing him to let out a sound of agony. Scenes of battle between Demons and the Heavens, slaughter , cries, sorrow every where ,blood rivers being formed due to the great slaughter. Weapons being forged in in the furnace. A dark forest with dark energy. A celestial beauty goddess together the demon lord with two horns on his head.
A few moments later, Hedrick closed the shower filling dizzy wrapped a towel around him and straight fell onto his bed unconscious.
Hedrick began to open his eyes slowly only to fight the beautiful rays of nature's eye flashing through the window onto his face. He then stretched his arms only to recall that today was supposed to be his first day of the punishment. Recalling the images that portrayed in his head, he found himself having a headache and hence gave up on that. He then got dressed in his uniform and headed straight towards the classroom block.
Upon arriving he found Rita's class gone half way.He began to curse himself for causing such trouble within such a short time.
Such a young handsome 15 year old like me is in such hell. What did I do for me to deserve such a beginning. Hedrick thought while causing himself in the heart.
' You can come in a take a seat.' Rita took the initiative to invite him in. Though she was a cold teacher, she was someone who took things easy at times but hard to understand.
' Thank you, Ma'am. ' Hedrick thanked as he walked to the back of the classroom. He then took a seat beside a young fat boy with calm aura handsome and his eyes were ad calm as water and they gave a warm feeling to anyone around.
' Hello my name is Belly Moi. And you are...? ' the fat boy gave an introduction upon seeing Hedrick.
' Hedrick. ' Hedrick replied with a warm smile.
' Oh nice to meet you Hedrick. '
Hedrick didn't reply but just nodded and went deep into thought about the images that flashed in his mind the previous night.
' Is that my origin or perhaps are those my parents or are those my ancestors?Who is that beautiful woman and who is that man besides him?Why are the Demons and Heavens fighting each other? ' Hedrick murmured in his heart.
' Hu... I shall think about that later after I finish that old man's punishment. What does that old man have in store for me after missing out this morning.Hu... let's not think about it for now. '
A few minutes later, Rita looked his direction. He lifted his head only to meet the cold eyes of the beauty causing his heart to skip a beat slightly.
' If gods really exist. Please help me out this one time. Please... please... please.. '
' Hedrick! Take these to my office station. ' Rita coldly commanded.
' Aaaaa... '
' Is there a problem?'
' No Ma'am.' he replied with a bitter smile.
' Mayla help him out with the rest.'
' Aaaaa...'
' Is there a problem?'
' No Ma'am. 'she replied with a forced smile causing the class to fall into deep laughter.
' Indeed birds of the same feathers flock together. ' another student added causing laughter through out the class.
