Chapter 7: OLD FRIEND
The next day,a bell was rang and two teachers could be seen in front of the dormitories waiting for the students to come out.Soon students picked up the pace and headed down stairs as first they could.
"Well, you need to respond faster than that."said the male teacher in a big voice.
"My name is Joe Hamburd and this is my assistant Ritah Anderson."
Harmburd was short with a bald head light skinned and held a katana in his left side while Ritah on the other hand was averagely tall, chocolate skinned with brown hair and her dark eyes complemented her beauty. She was so stunning that she made many of the boys jaws drop.
"Well , today we shall start with knowing the school rules and school tour and later will be given ability books for practice."
"Of course for vampires, it will be optional."
"But you never know, you may need it one day." He added.
"The rest will be handled by Ritah."he said as he moved backwards leaving the platform for his assistant.Ritah then bowed her head and moved forward.Most boys were now all ears to her as she began to speak. Some of the girls were now jealous if her beauty but also appreciated it.
"Any students by the names Hedrick and Mayla."she asked as she looked through the crowd waiting for a response.
The name sounded familiar to head but could not tell who that person was.A few seconds later Mayla raised her hand and moved forward.
"Well,what of the other one?"she asked again waiting for a response.
As Hedrick was still in deep thoughts,Prosper tapped him by the shoulder.He then raised his hand and moved forward.
"Well, what took you so long?"asked Ritah in a bitter voice.
"Your beauty Mam."he replied as chuckles could be heard among the students.
"Well seems you are a daring one."replied Ritah with a smile.
"Well you two will have to meet me later."
As the two faces met, their was silence between the two.A smile began to appear on Hedrick's face.
"Well!Well!Well! we meet again little Mayla."he said.
Mayla's face began to turn red as she saw the face in front of her.
"Why you? How come?"she was there in confusion.
"Seems you two have a lot to talk about."said Ritah as she looked at the two.
"You can go back."
Ritah then gave a signal and the students began to follow her. Hamburd followed behind them from a distance. The tour around the school began as she showed them their classes, training equipment, library and so many others. Some things were new to some students as they enjoyed the tour.Hedrick had no interest in all those as he was now focusing on Mayla the old friend.
"Dude,how did you meet her?"asked Kim wondering.
"I met her in the forest as she was fighting a Malf." He replied with a smile.
"Malf?"
"Does that thing really exist?"
"Why don't you give and ask her." He replied pointing at Mayla.
Mayla could hear the conversation and turned around looking at the two boys fiercely.
"I'm off from here."Kim said as he headed back to where Xia was standing.
Hedrick then moved his face closer to Mayla's. Mayla then moved backwards as her heart beat began to sound louder.
"Why are you blushing?" Hedrick asked teasingly.
"I'm not."Mayla replied trying to hide her face.
"Your heart is beating faster."so you are lying.
"I'm not rather it's not."
"I'm out of here."she said as she walked faster then her leg stepped on her shoe laces making her fall into Hedrick's chest.
"We are not here to watch your love scenes."Ritah shouted on top of her voice.
"She is just scared.''replied as he held her tighter.
"Scared of what?" Ritah asked curiously.
"Of those two."Hedrick replied pointing at Hamburd and Oliver with his other hand.
Laughter had now filled the whole area as all the attention was now on them. Mayla coming out of the warm hug,she noticed all eyes were on them two.
"What are you doing?" Mayla whispeered to Hedrick.
"Making you famous."Hedrick replied.
