" Little sparrow, what's wrong with you these days? You seem a little distracted." asked Elder Wen a little stunned. It was very rare to find a serious girl like Rita distracted by something
" Nothing much. Just wondering about the new student we sent to the campsite."
" What's wrong with him? "asked Elder Wen.
" Do you know what cultivation stage he has reached? "
" No, why should I know?"
"Haaa (sigh)... it really bad when girls grow up. They can't think of their parents for a second after falling for someone they like. "
" Aaaaa... Dad what are you saying? The boy must be younger than me. Another thing, I'm his teacher, his elder so it's impossible between him and me."
" Who knows if what they always say is true? They say this and end up doing the other thing."he teased as he sipped his tea looking at the sky.
" Dad...! "
" Okay, I'm done. Have you found out what I asked for? "
" Not yet! I have just returned.But I'm going to work upon it from here. "
" Mmmm... the earlier it arrives the better it is for us."
A few hours later, on a tree branch in the forest a few kilometers from the Bandits' base. A teenage boy was seated with holding a leaf playing a song gracefully as he placed it in between his lips.A few minutes later when he stopped, he placed the leaf away and then opened his eyes slowly.
" How was it?"asked the boy abruptly.
A female stiletto wearing a pink dress appeared from the nearby tree shadows with a stunned expression before she commented.
" It was a good one but it was filled with a feeling of loneliness and yearning for something one will never get. Who thought the naughty boy had this side of him! " said the female.
" Madam Rita,Let me tell you something. You actually know less if not nothing about your students." said Hedrick as he looked far away.
" And do I need to know them? Why should I? "asked Rita.
" Actually you should before it's too late. You never know that small thing you know about someone will save a life in future. " said Hedrick as he slowly turned and faced Rita.
" Life is just like that base of the bandits. They rob everyday knowing their life is on the line during a mission but still go on. They know they will die anytime they meet someone stronger than them. But the funny thing is that they don't know the person or when he or she will show up. So to them everyday is their last day. Too bad they have forgotten of themselves being attacked by someone after so many years passing.The same goes for us.We don't know when we will actually die but just keep going and forget that we may die at anytime without knowing."
" You should always stay aware of every little bit of information you get about someone.You never know when it will save your life."he said with a smile. Rita tried to interpret what Hedrick had said but could not come up with anything else.
" Why don't you stay here and keep me company before you go back and report to your father."
" How did I know?" interrupted Hedrick before she could speak. He then moved a few steps towards Rita.
" Stay still." said Hedrick in a serious tone as Rita was about to draw her sword.
" I'll tell you the day I confess my love for you." said he as he stretched his hand towards Rita's face.
" Stay still and don't move." he said once again in a serious tone. His hand moved towards her snow white face touched it and continued towards the back of her head as he closed his eyes and moved his head closer to hers.
Two sudden movements happened at the same time as Hedrick grabbed hold of something while Rita heavily punched Hedrick's nose causing blood to flow.
Ignoring the pain, Hedrick pulled out a transparent snake-like creature as it hissed heavily.
" Aaaaaa..." screamed Rita as she hid behind Hedrick.
" Whh..at's that?" asked Rita.
" If I'm not wrong,it should be the five poisons colourless snake."
" What...?"
" Quickly draw your sword and kill it I don't have much time."
Following the instructions, Rita quickly slashed it into two and pierced the head of the snake on other half of it's body dead.
" Hey!What did you mean by not enough time?" asked Rita as she turned around only to find Hedrick staring at her weakly and then his eyes closing and blood continued to flow out of his nose. Followed by that was the lifeless body falling onto her causing her to stumble to support it. The weight was too much for her to bare causing her to fall down with Hedrick ontop of her.
With Hedrick's manly chest pressing against her bossom, her face turned red as her body slightly trembled. Ever since she had been borne ,never in her life had she come it contact with a body of any male with the exception of her father. But now there she was with a man in the middle of the forest alone and their bodies in contact.How on earth could she remain stable in a such situation.
" Hey you, can you get up?" she shouted but no reply came out. Smelling the Hedrick's manly body scent always her skin to heat up and turn red but despite all the shouts, nothing came out.
' Don't Tell me he is dead!' a thought surfaced in Rita's head causing her to utilize her internal energy and push Hedrick off.
Upon inspection, Hedrick's face was covered in blood and so were his blue robes.
"Aaaaa God! why didn't you tell tell me you were so weak?"
Carrying Hedrick with her,she went to the nearest town and paid for an inn. She then placed the unconscious Hedrick on the bed and told the attendant to change his clothes.Two days passed but Hedrick showed no signs of waking up causing Rita to call for a doctor.
