Chapter 29: Her first kiss
Jade did not stop her struggles so that she could move but it made the situation harder for her. One of Alvin's hand moved from her waist to her mid thigh which was covered by her long gown. "Do you remember what you told me a few days ago?" Came Alvin's question so that he could notify her about his presence.
"About me wanting to go back home?" When Jade questioned Alvin back, he squeezed her thigh in a way such that she could feel his hand on her even with all the layers of the gown that she wore."I want to go!" Jade said. Her tone was much higher as she was not comfortable with the way he touched her. His touch was not repulsive as it made Jade's heartbeat to accelerate, but she was scared that the man in front of her would push her to do something that she was not ready for. At least not with him.
"Jade, I feel like my love for you is turning into an obsession, and everytime I see you, I only think of taking you away from the world so that I could treasure you and keep you safe just for me." His words came as a whisper which was enticing. As he made sure to look into her black eyes as he said those words.
His hand slowly moved downwards until it reached her knee where Jade stopped him by putting her hand on top of his. "Please stop." Saying those words, Jade removed his hand from her knee and got down from the table. "Alvin please stop all this. I'm a woman who has her own virtues and respect and. I don't want to become one of those many women you have bedded so just let me live the life that I have always seen for myself."
Her words changed Alvin's expressions into a serious one and the hand that was on her waist pulled her closer towards him as he trapped her eyes into his. "Jade, I fell for you the time I first saw you and the thoughts of you have been flooding my mind, I can't let you be taken by someone else because you are mine so don't ever think of your future without adding me to it. Some things are not easy to find and so are you. You are my most valued treasure that I'm not willing to let go of." His words kind of softened her heart as she was still entrapped in his eyes but that did not make her forget who she really was. "Then I was never meant to be yours as I already love some...." Her words were cut short as Alvin's cold lips touched her warm ones. It started as just a peck but that was not enough for Alvin. His lips lingered on her lower lips while his gaze was fixed on her as the girl was still opening her eyes due to the shock. "Just listen to your feelings." He whispered to her enticingly as he gave a slow lick on her lower lip that gave her shivers. He pulled her closer to him which made her to tilt her head hence giving him complete access to her and Alvin did not miss that opportunity as he delved into a possessive kiss and when Jade parted her lips, he did not miss the opportunity to sneak his tongue inside her sweet cavern. Jade was totally appalled by the way a kiss could make her body to betray her resolve as she was also lost in the kiss and let Alvin do whatever he wanted. His tongue entangled and played with her soft one and he slowly moved it to her jawline which made Jade sigh involuntarily. When Alvin finally released her lips from his, jade's knees were already weak and she could have fallen if Alvin was not holding her firmly.
As she was catching her breath, Alvin lowered his head and peppered kisses on her long beautiful neck which was exposed for him as she had worn an off shoulder gown. "Don't ever repeat those words again my sweet girl. You are only mine." His words held a tinge of anger and possessiveness that somehow warmed Jade's heart instead of worrying her and she quickly looked away.Her face had turned red due to embarrassment and Alvin could not help but smile on seeing the way the girl couldn't keep up with his eye contact.
On hearing her heartbeat turning to a normal pace, he let go of her waist. "Don't be shy because I want to do more than that my sweet. I can't wait for you to fall for me." He said to Jade who was still in the state of shock, embarrassment and a mixture of feelings that she could not understand. Their moment was destructed by a knock on the door at which the butler walked in with his head bowed. "Your highness.., milady, the dinner is served." He said dutifully without looking at them. "We will be there in a moment." The king said and after his words, the butler left. "Your expressions make me want to do more." Alvin said with a smile which was returned with a glare from Jade but that did not anger him. "You were not supposed to do that." Jade said angrily as she ticked a stand of unruly hair behind her ear. "Says the person who never tried to stop me." Came the king's words and Jade who had no comeback could only change the topic.
"I am hungry." Jade said. It seemed that the girl was not as bold as she looked on the outside. Alvin thought as he looked at her. She was innocent and beautiful and he was not sure if he could control the urge to explore her body and own her mind and heart as it was something that made him run his fingers through his locks of hair every moment he thought about her."I will have the book brought to your room." Saying those words, he held Jade's hand and the walked out of the library.
