Chapter 5: Ch5 - A Growing Boy

With dark circles under her eyes, and covered in sweat, Mitsuki looked like she just finished running a marathon. Yoshiki had never seen the woman so subdued. Mitsuki Bakugo was almost always growling, yelling, and ready to throw hands, but now Mitsuki looked like she was about to pass out in her wheelchair.
Pregnancy tended to have that effect on women.
When Yoshiki had found out that the two main characters of BNHA were female, this wasn't one of the 'butterfly effects' that he anticipated, but that wasn't a bad thing.
Not by any means.
In fact, Yoshiki had never seen Mitsuki so happy.
Masaru Bakugo looked pretty happy too, but he also looked just as, if not more tired than Mitsuki did. Knowing Mitsuki's temperament, Yoshiki was willing to bet that there had been a ton of yelling, cursing, and hitting.
Poor guy.
"Awww," his mother cooed. "She's adorable! What's her name?"
"We decided on Koemi," Mitsuki answered, smiling down at her baby.
Despite this change, though, some things remained the same.
Yoshiki glanced at Inko. With his X-ray Vision, he could see that her belly had a little more pudge to it than it did last week. Yoshiki might've been there for Izumi, but Inko must've still felt guilty about not supporting her daughter herself. If he let things be, Inko was going to turn out just like she had in canon.
'Not on my watch,' he decided.
He wasn't exactly sure what he was going to do about it, but he'd do something.
"Tch. What's the fuss about? It's just a baby," Katsumi muttered, frowning as she looked at her baby sister in her mother's arms. "An ugly baby, too."
Inko and Fumika gasped, Izumi's eyes went wide, Masaru's face slipped behind his hands, and Mitsuki's jaw clenched, hard. Yoshiki just raised an eyebrow.
He knew that they were kids, but seriously...
'How can someone have so little tact?'
"I'll have you know, Katsumi, you used to look just as ugly, if not uglier."
"Wuh?" Katsumi spluttered. "No way! I was the cutest fucking baby!"
"Katsumi!" Mitsuki holler whispered, in a way that sent shivers down everyone's spines. "What did we talk about?"
"U-Uh, no cussing in front of the baby."
"Don't do it again," she said, her smile straining. The "You'll regret it" went unsaid.
"Right," Katsumi muttered, trying to sound tough... but everyone could see right through it. Not that anyone called her out on it. "Let's go spar, Piss Eyes. Greenie can watch."
Yoshiki sighed. "Alright."

6 years and 2 months. That's how old he was now.
He still had black hair with golden-yellow tips, as well as golden eyes... or as Katsumi liked to call them, Piss Eyes. However, despite the vulgar nickname, Yoshiki was very slowly blossoming into a fine young man. He was only a little over 6 years old, true, but women were already starting to stare.
Yoshiki smiled.
Forge had been busy.
Ideal Body: Slowly develops you towards your ideal body image. Counters any and all body-dysmorphia given enough time. *Passive.
Healthy Body: Creates incredibly potent antibodies that can counter every sickness, illness, and disease in seconds. Less effective against venoms and poisons. *Passive.
Hyper Gains: Increases effort to output ratio by 200% for all physical gains. Applies a 200% decrease in regards to losses. *Passive.
Hyper Senses: Increases general perception threefold. *Passive.
Fast Recovery: Increases recovery speed fivefold. *Passive.
Near Perfect Memory: Remember and recall almost anything in an instant. Nothing that you repeatedly focus on will ever fade from your memories. *Passive.
Body Talent: Grants exceptional talent in any physical activity. *Passive.
With all of the sub-Quirks listed above being passive, general improvements, as well as powers that no one could even tell he had, they've been attributed to good genetics. But that didn't change the fact that Yoshiki was a striking young boy– he had already lost count of the amount of times he's been called a little heartbreaker.
'Which was wrong,' Yoshiki thought idly. He was going to be a hearttaker.
However, even though they were useful... none of those sub-Quirks had really cost him all that much to acquire. Even Body Talent, which was by far the most useful on its own, had only cost Yoshiki a little more than 3 months of Energy. All together, the previously listed sub-Quirks hadn't even cost him half a year.
That had left Yoshiki with more than 18 months of the stuff.
Archive: Permanently track a number of people/targets. Can experience the immediate surroundings of any target. Can also know any target's name(s), age, sex, weight, height, emotions, health, likes/dislikes, Quirk(s), everything. *Target. Sight-based. (x/300)
Alert: Set alerts for monitored targets/situations. *Toggle. (x/100)
Observation: Passively sense all tangible phenomena. Actively sense light, sound, heat, life, emotions, Quirk usage, everything. *Focus. 5km radius.
Just those three sub-Quirks had cost Yoshiki 15 entire months.
His Archive was based off of Ragdoll's Search, and with triple the target limit, and letting him spy from a distance... it was just better overall, costing him just over half a year. Alert, on the other hand, only cost Yoshiki a single month, but it was probably the one sub-Quirk that set his mind at ease the most.
Quite simply, it let him set alerts. For example, Yoshiki had an alert for [ Fumika Enokawa abnormal status ], which meant that the second his mom so much as scraped her knee, Yoshiki would instantly know. Even if he wasn't actively using Archive.
Hell, even if he was sleeping, Alert would force him awake.
It was a little obvious, but Yoshiki had been worried. Kyudai Garaki and All For One were still out and about, with Garaki literally living in the neighborhood, but even without those two in the picture... the world of BNHA was dangerous. With over a billion superpowered people, the world could only be dangerous.
The blissful silence of Alert gave him peace of mind.
Observation, though, was literally just One Piece's Observation Haki. It was also his single most expensive sub-Quirk so far, costing a whopping 8 months all on its own. Despite it's incredibly high price tag, it was worth it. Since while Lightcraft had done a great job cementing his attack power...
Observation made Yoshiki feel strong.
Before hand, Yoshiki had just been laying the groundwork. Just hiding his strength as he slowly built himself up. However, the moment that he activated Observation... it hit him. In just two short years of having Forge, Yoshiki was finally formidable. The power to see everything around him, and the power to attack at the speed of thought– it was a terrifying combination.
There were very, very few people Yoshiki couldn't kill in seconds.
...And that was why he felt kind of bad.
Izumi and Katsumi were making good progress, truly. Yoshiki only had to give Izumi a small nudge, and the girl had thrown herself headfirst into martial arts. In just two years, Yoshiki was happy to see she was already stronger than a Chapter 1 Deku. As for Katsumi, she had forced her way into the dojo as well, and was building on her already monstrous combat instincts.
But Yoshiki was Yoshiki.
BOOM! BOOM!
"DAMMIT! STAND–! STILL–!"
Even with her Quirk, Katsumi couldn't so much as touch him.
Yoshiki would spar with both Izumi and Katsumi once a day, sometimes more, and neither of them had managed to hit him once. It must've been incredibly infuriating... but Yoshiki was happy to see that neither of them called it quits. With a constant goal in mind, both girls gave it their all to try and knock that smug grin off of his face, at least once.
By the time they all got to Yuuei, they'd be strong.
Yoshiki honestly couldn't wait.
