Chapter 34: The second selection starting [34].
Days after day pass, everybody in team Z were training intensely and every break they would be at least one person puking in a bucket.
Most of the time , it was Naruaya and some other random guy names Yurei.
Time skip
After 10 days of grueling exercises that pushed their body over the limit, the sound of a monitor turning on at 6:30 in the morning was heard.
Everybody seem to be asleep as Nakada was texting somebody on his phone as he heard the sound of the monitor turn on, he look up to be met by the figure of ego jinpachi in the screen looking at him.
"Ding, Dong, Ding, Dooong" Ego said and as those words left his mouth, some of the players from team z started to wake up.
"At this time, Blue Lock first selection round has been completed for all wings, all players who have cleared the first round, please put on your training suit "Ego voice said through the screen.
"And proceed to the underground central area in your respective wings, I repeat"
"It's over"Lemon said with a sweat dropping down his cheek, he looked like he didn't believe what he was hearing.
From his face you could tell that he was very tired and sleep deprived,
"Haah,Finally"Naruaya said looking dead tired.
Everybody inside the room looked like zombies as they had bag under their eyes and it was pretty obvious to see that they were tired.
"What took you so long ego, one more day of that and I would of torn this place down"Raichi said clearing pissed as I could see vein on his face.
He had a lot of bags under his eyes and you could see the red veins showing in his eyes, his teeth look pretty sharp and I just now realize this.
"Same here, I'm ready to steal the life of luxury that those upper ranked bastards are living "Lemon said a bit mad but with his tired face, he just looked malnourished.
I stretched my body as that was the only I felt like doing before I looked down at my phone and sent one last message.

After receiving that message, I just smiled softly, I immediately went into the changing room where I changed into my training uniform.
We walked where ego told us to go and when we arrive there, we were met by a bunch of other player and they all had something in common.
They all looked dead tired and look like their we're not that good with a ball, I looked at their ranking and notice something.
None of those players were higher than rank 261. I also notice that some of them were part of team W, while I knew for a fact that team W got eliminated.
As soon as that hit me, I realize what was happening and I just let out a chuckle, my teammates looked at me as I chuckle but I soon stopped before I muttered out"guess he does know how to motivate people"
"Hi there, you lumps of talents, good job on your physical training"Ego voice said as he appeared in a giant monitor that was on the wall.
"Gathered here are twenty five players from all five wings, all 125 of you cleared the first selection in sure the clever ones in here have already noticed...but there isn't anyone in here from wings 1, 2, 3, or 4."Ego said before he paused for a second.
"That because those don't exist"Ego revealed to us.
"Only 5 wings exist in blue lock,"Ego said opening his hands as an hologram of five wings with the number five withing across all of them appeared.
"By making you all think you were in teams v-z at the bottom, you all fought like madmen in the first selection round"Ego explained to which I just smiled.
"Huh, huh, did he just say they all wing five"A random person said confused.
"For real, no way"another one said to which I just looked at them and sighed.
"You tricked us and them made us do all that training?! Are you trying to kill us"A random person yelled out.
"Yeah that right,"Ego said as his face darkned and I could see the intensity coming from his eyes, for some reason, I felt like those eyes belong to player that I used to watch as a kid.
"I'm trying to kill your tepid confidence"Ego said without am ounce of any other emotion apart from sheer arrogance.
Some people looked shocked while some of them looked very mad but Ego ignored them before he said"I created this scheme to produce the hungry mindset you need to become the best in the world"
Some people were yelling out that he made a fool out of them while other were saying they were not his toys.
I expected Kira to look pissed but he looked rather calm about this, his eyes seem to shine a strange determination.
"Idiots, those tepid remarks are what I am talking about"Ego said as he heard those excuses for soccer player complaining and whimpering.
"Listen take Noel Noa for example, the man currently referred as the best striker, he grew up in poverty, throughout those days in poverty, with crimes and violence always close by, he knew that he could change his destiny with a soccer ball, soccer was literally his only chance"Ego said as he explain Noel Noah beginning.
I knew he was not wrong as a lot of soccer players grew up in poverty. I think the reason that most of them are succeeding is because they never want to go back to that life.
We can take Pele has an example, he is known as one of the best player to ever play the sport even though my personal bias probably would never put him anywhere near my top 3 list.
Top 5 maybe, top 3 absolutely not,"Alot of strikers come out of similar circumstances, there is no measuring their hunger to achieve goals"Ego voice said pulling me out of my thoughts.
"You grew up in tepid Japan where you can still survive if you fail at soccer, you guys will never reach the same point as them as you lack the hunger to get better"Ego explained.
"Just now all of you came here wanting to destroy the one above you right, I'm going to win that what you guys thought, that why I created blue lock, to give you that hunger to score more goals"Ego voice explained.
A/N as the second selection is starting, let me give you guys some sort of guide on Nakada's ability.
He is ambidextrous, he also have his own version of meta vision that allow him to fully use his skill to the maximum of their ability.
His positioning is top tier and due to his idol being Messi, his two strongest points are his ball control and his high speed dribbling ability.
He has such a control over his body that he can change direction while running pretty quickly, his feints are great.
He is 15 meaning as of right now he and Niko are the youngest player in blue lock.
He has 2 name technique shooting technique that you guys probably notice.
His Phoenix shot where he add so much spin into the ball that, it seems like ball seem to come back to life
His Nakada impact is basically his version of the kaiser impact but better as he doesn't need a team to use it.
He has a few tricks that he hasn't shown and I will not leak as of now but all I am going to say is that all of this was just a warm up for him.
