Once again, Espen appeared in the doorway, arms crossed over his chest this time. “Are we?”
“Yes.” He wished he could mimic the arm-cross, but he couldn’t.
“And what are we talking about?”
Arvid pursed his lips. “Why you’re angry.”
“I’m not.”
“Why you’re grumpy?”
“I’m a bear. Grumpy and bear go together.”
Arvid made a frustrated sound. “Why you’re insulted.”
“Oh…I’m a raping alpha, I’m pretty sure I’m incapable of being insulted.” He turned and disappeared into the dark of the kitchen. Arvid stared. What the hell?
“Hey!” Arvid followed, though carefully since he couldn’t see well in the dark. “I can’t help how I feel.”
