"What?" I stuttered, my voice barely above a whisper, disbelief etched in every syllable. My chest heaved as I struggled to process his words. 

Tor's eyes flashed a brilliant gold, a warning, and a promise wrapped in one feral gaze. "How should I punish you, Freyr?" he repeated, his voice low and dangerous, like a growl that resonated deep in my bones. 

I stared at him, my mind reeling. The question was absurd, yet the intensity in his tone left no room for doubt. Was he testing me? Pushing me? My bewilderment only deepened, but it was nothing compared to the storm brewing inside me.
