Vanessa
She wasn’t sure how, but she found Malik and Byron. Ever since she came to New York, she felt she had a sixth sense of some kind. For not being familiar with things, she was able to find her way when she wanted to find them. She couldn’t get to the roof where they were, but she had a gut feeling that’s where they were. Malik was the one to jump off the roof and land on his feet. “Where’s Byron?” she asked.
“How the hell did you find your way out this way?” Malik asked.
Vanessa shrugged, “I don’t know, I just did. Why?”
Malik shook his head, “Still trying to figure out how you found your way to the court room.”
“Maybe I just have good instincts when I’m feeling determined.”
“Maybe, but you and I are going home early tonight.”
“What? Why?”
Malik looked at her, “Byron did a stupid thing trying to get himself killed tonight. The punishment, you two aren’t to see each other until I decide otherwise. Same goes for Rylie.”
