Claws crashed into metal as Colette dived at Isabella again, the huntress just barely deflecting her attack and making the blonde skid to the edge of the roof. She caught herself in time and took a defensive stance, bringing both arms up to shield her face.
Adrenaline was coursing through Colette, and she knew from the look in Isabella’s dark eyes that the same was happening to her.
“Getting tired?”
“Not even close.”
They’d been fighting for a few minutes now, but Colette showed no sign of stopping anytime soon. Dashing across the roof, she jumped above the huntress and slashed downwards with her claws, landing a hit across her cheek as she endured a strike back from the retractable spear that Isabella was carrying.
