Adrian sat on the edge of his bed, staring at the floor, his mind a whirlwind of conflicting emotions. The confrontation with his mother had left him seething with anger and consumed by jealousy. He couldn't shake off the image of Sophia's face when he had mentioned Anthony. There was always a certain warmth, a glint in her eyes whenever she spoke about him, and it gnawed at Adrian's heart.
"Why, Mom? Why did you keep this from me?" he muttered to himself, his voice filled with bitterness. "And why Anthony?"
Adrian's hands clenched into fists. He had always harbored a deep-seated resentment towards Anthony, but now, knowing that they were brothers, the hatred had intensified. He hated the idea of sharing his mother's affection, of being second to Anthony in her eyes. He wondered if Sophia loved her other family more than him. The thought was like a knife twisting in his gut.
"She's always been good to me, but…," Adrian's voice trailed off as he tried to make sense of his feelings. "There's always something different when she talks about him. Why does she care so much about him?"
Adrian paced the room, his mind racing. He couldn't stand the thought of Anthony being the favored son. He needed to do something, to prove that he was the one who truly mattered. The anger and jealousy burned within him, fueling his determination to make things hard for Anthony.
"I'll show them," Adrian vowed, his voice a low growl. "I'll show them that I'm the one who deserves her love and attention. Anthony will regret ever crossing my path."
Adrian's mind began to churn with plans and schemes. He would find ways to undermine Anthony, to make his life difficult at every turn. He would expose any weaknesses, exploit any vulnerabilities. Whatever it took, he would make sure Anthony knew his place.
"He's not my brother," Adrian spat, his voice filled with venom. "He's my enemy."
With a determined look in his eyes, Adrian sat down at his desk and began to plot his next move. He wouldn't rest until Anthony was out of the picture and he had reclaimed his place as the center of his mother's world.

### Back at Khalid's Empire

The group had gathered in the training hall , the air heavy with the weight of their recent discoveries. Ivy was the first to voice what everyone had been thinking. "I can't believe Elliot was the spy all along," she murmured, her voice tinged with disbelief. She turned to Anthony, sitting beside her. "Anthony, how could you not have noticed? You were his roommate."
Anthony's jaw tightened, his usually calm demeanor strained. "I trusted him," he admitted, his voice low. "He was a friend, or so I thought."
Jax chimed in, his brow furrowed in thought. "It's not your fault, Anthony. Elliot was good at hiding it. None of us suspected a thing."
Maddie nodded in agreement, her hand resting reassuringly on Jax's. "Exactly. He played his part well."
Jasmin, who had been silent until now, spoke up. "We can't dwell on what's done. What matters is how we move forward."
Lila entered the room at that moment, her presence commanding attention. "I have an announcement," she declared, her voice firm. "There's a new mission on the horizon, one that requires precision and speed."
She looked up, her gaze sweeping over Anthony and Ivy. "Anthony, Ivy, the Amir seeks your presence in his chambers."
Anthony and Ivy exchanged a glance, nodding in acknowledgment. They followed Lila out of the room, leaving the rest of the group deep in discussion.

### Inside Khalid's Chambers

Khalid was waiting for them, his expression grave as Anthony and Ivy entered. He motioned for them to sit.
"This mission is critical," Khalid began, his tone brooking no argument. "We have intelligence that could turn the tide in our favor, but it's dangerous. You two are our best chance at success."
Ivy leaned forward, her eyes sharp. "What's the mission father?"
Khalid handed them a dossier. "A high-ranking enemy official has information that could expose Elliot's network. We need you to infiltrate his compound and retrieve that information."
Anthony nodded, his determination clear. "We won't let you down."
Khalid's eyes softened for a moment. "I know you won't. But be careful. This mission could be our last chance to stop Elliot and his allies."
"And Ivy, meet me in my chambers once you're back from the mission. You and I have some talking to do". Khalid finalized
Anthony and Ivy nodded, their faces set with determination. They knew the risks, but they also knew the potential reward.
"We'll get it done, Amir," Anthony said, his voice firm.
Ivy stood up, her eyes locked onto Khalid's. "And what's this about, Father? You said we need to talk?"
Khalid's expression turned serious. "It's about your mother, Ivy. And Damon."
Ivy's eyes narrowed. "What about them?"
Khalid hesitated, as if choosing his words carefully. "Ivy, your mother and Adrian's father... they were involved in something. Something big. And it's coming back to haunt us."
Ivy's mind raced as she tried to process this information. She had always known that her parents were involved in some shady dealings, but she had never imagined anything like this.
"What do you mean?" she asked, her voice barely above a whisper.
Khalid's eyes locked onto hers. "I'll tell you everything when you get back from the mission. But for now, just know that Adrian is not what he seems. And neither is your mother."
Ivy's world was spinning. She didn't know what to believe or who to trust. But she knew one thing for sure: she was going to get to the bottom of this.
And with that, she and Anthony set off on their mission, ready to face whatever lay ahead.
Meanwhile, Elliot was watching from the shadows, his eyes fixed on Ivy and Anthony as they left Khalid's chambers. He knew what they were up to, and he was determined to stop them.
"You'll never succeed," he muttered to himself, his eyes gleaming with determination. "I'll make sure of it."
And with that, he disappeared into the darkness, ready to put his plan into action.
