Bella took a glance at Diana. The days of sleep seemed to be over, unless they wanted a police escort to follow them or thought of some other creative way to get rid of the queue.

Early the next morning, despite the darkness and the threatening storm clouds hovering above them like a constant threat, Diana lay on the bed for Bella but saw that she was gone. She listened, hoping to hear a new e-mail announcement from her servant or the sound of her cooking in the kitchen. Nothing. And then, pattering rain, then a roar that choked the area, filled her ears. She was sure that if She didn't leave soon, her skin would start to grow with a layer of green moss or mold.

She pushed the comforter aside and left the bedroom. He wasn't in his office. He couldn't be in the greenhouse now. The thought of the demolished greenhouse made him nauseous. When he brought it back to Colorado, she was going to build one that was twice his size.
