He still couldn't contain his anger at having abandoned her, even if only for a short time. What if she had been seen?

As she parked the car, Bella smiled at him from the driver's seat, a devilish glint in her eyes. The image of him naked in bed with her suddenly came to my mind. Crossing his arms, he frowned until the woman sitting on the passenger side caught his attention. His mouth fell open, and his eyes were as round as the full moon as he stared at her in surprise.

Light footsteps rushed along the corridor.

Bella leaned against the doorframe, her posture relaxed, a devilish smile plastered on her mouth. "My next-door neighbor went home and skipped a cup of coffee with me." She slowly wet her lips in a sensual gesture, and then folded her arms under her breasts. "Hmm, you definitely gave Chrissie something to dream about, though I don't think I've ever seen her this speechless before." A smile spread across his face.
