Chapter 172: Gone Again

His steps quickened as though his heels have spring on them with his newly found courage to confess his feelings to Iris.

"Master."

His brows furrowed deeply when he heard Linda calling him. He did not want to be bothered but he had stopped to know what was of importance that she had in mind for her to bother him.

"What is it?"

Linda was taken aback with the harness in his tone.

"I don't have all the time in the world. Speak up!"

"Errr…nothing much…I-I," she stammered with her words. She did not expect Calixto to be in a foul mood.

Calixto clicked his tongue and said. "If you have nothing to say, better not to disturb me."

Calixto watched Linda nod and lower her head in shame before he turned on his heels to go to Iris's room.

He was still clicking his tongue in annoyance as he turned the north side hallway leading to Iris's bedroom.
