Secret's
I was once a normal kid. I went to a normal school, had a normal house, and a normal dog named Charlie. I also had normal parents… or I thought. One day something happened to my parents, people say it was a "accident". But something in my gut told me that it was not. Hi, I'm Hannah Clamore. I have tan skin, mixed brunette and dark red hair that is always in a braid, and I'm 5 foot 2in I am now 15.
Chapter 1: Truth
My parents were at "work", they never told me what they did for work. One night they were on their way home when a car rammed into them. The car then disappeared and was ever seen again. The police did not get there in time before they… did not make it.
I was 14 at the time. One day a man came.
"Hi I'm robert and i am here to pick you up" said Robert
"Who sent you" I said
"Your sister?" Robert said confused
"I don't have a sister" I said
" but you do" he said "lydia Clamore"
"Okay then when do we leave" I asked
"now " he said
"Let me just go pack" I said
"No need we already sent your stuff" he told me
"How…" he took my hand and brought me to a lime green buggy.
The buggy took us to the airport, where we got a plane headed for pennsylvania. We landed 21 hours after we got on the plane. We got to the house, it was a dark navy blue, the window, and poles were all white. We headed to the front door, when suddenly a dog come out and knocked me over he was a canaan dog who had cream colored fur with a white stripe down his neck to the end of his belly
"Charlie!" I called
Charlie barked at me, someone came out she had dark brown brunette hair, tan skin, 5 foot 1in.
"Lydia?" I said
"Yes" lydia said
"You're here!" she said
"I am, I had to see if it was true" I said almost crying
"If you had a sister?" lydia says starting to cry
"Yeah" I said blushing
"I did not know I had a sister either, until a letter from mom and dad came saying I did and that they died" lydia said crying I could see it in her eyes as she was trying not to.
"Should we go inside" I asked
" oh sorry" she said wiping away tears
We went inside a white door as we went inside it smelled like fresh strawberry cookies, like the one mom used to make sweet, gooey cookies. She sat me down at a golden brown table with every color rose in a blue vase .
"You want some cookies" asked lydia
"yes please" I said almost drooling to taste them
"Mom used to make them for me" we said together in sync, after we started laughing.
We ate the strawberry cookies until they were gone. It was then that I realized Charlie had to be fed.
"Charlie" I called he came and sat by me
"Where's your bowl" I asked
"It's in the kitchen" said Lydia answering
"Oh thanks" I replied walking to the kitchen
I found it on the counter. I found Charlie's dog food in the pantry.
It was 10:30 I was going to bed when I heard Lydia down the hallway. I Walked down there, Lydia started talking, I stopped and listened. My gut was telling me to go to bed but I wanted to see what she was saying. What I got out of all of this was "I can't keep it a secret any more mom". Keep what a secret, what was she supposed to keep, was I not supposed to know. That's when I heard an alarm go off.
Chapter 2: The brake in
Lydia ran out of her room in her navy blue pj's with a scared look in her eyes. I stood there confused
"What's happening" I said
"We have to go to the cellar," said Lydia
"Wait where's Charlie?" I said
I went into a dead sprint back inside the house. To my surprise Charlie was fighting the guys who broke in, they were wearing suits like the kind that people in a cult wear.
"Charlie" I called
"Get back to the cellar Hannah" Charlie said in a low growl.
"You can talk" I said with a shocked face
"Now" Charlie said getting pinned down
"I will explain once you both are safe" Charlie said breaking out of the hold
I ran outside to the cellar panting. When I got to the cellar Lydia was in a corner reading a book called "what is happening". Lydia looked up with a "I was worried" face
"Your ok"she said with a sigh
I was still confused
"Charlie...talk...wear cult...have to help...tell us something." I said still out of breath.
"What calm down Hannah" Lydia said, starting to get up.
We walk towards each other and then suddenly we heard a bang on the door
"Let me in, their gone" said a voice
"Charlie" I said walking to the door
"What, your dog charlie?" lydia asked with a confused look
"Yes" Charlie and Hannah said in sync
I let Charle in and he went to a wall and a paw print scanner came out. Charlie was bringing his paw to the scanner he put his paw on and the floor opened up and we fell through. Lydia was screaming, after today I was not surprised. I have a dog that talks my parents suddenly died I was not surprised anymore. The world could blow up and I would still not be surprised. We landed in a room full of what do you call it gadgets.
"Where in the world are we" said lydia still kind of screaming.
