Chapter 479: Prelude

Chilly rain engulfed Yuanyang City, turning the warm weather gloomy all of a sudden.

Such bad weather was rarely seen in this ancient city.

Raindrops flowed down from the eaves and gathered in the ditches on both sides of the streets before flowing into the man-made canals in the city.

A ghost-like figure appeared from nowhere. It stood on the stone bridge while holding a black paper umbrella, watching the rapid currents under the bridge run to the distance while carrying fallen leaves with them.

"Don't worry. When those swords come out, even if we don't interfere, they won't stay put. Those guys have always been ambitious." The voice seemed to come from the rapid currents under the bridge or from the gloomy rain that was engulfing the city.
