Chapter 68: 'Footage'

Trish immediately opened the door as she heard the doorbell ring.

Tristan was about to hide in his room but, he halted when Amber called him as she came in.

"No need to worry. I know," Amber told, shivering.

Tristan confusedly looked at Trish. She just nodded to clear Tristan's confusion.

"Give her a towel, please," Trish said to one of the maids. "Why did you soak yourself? You may catch a cold!"

"I didn't notice, I was in a rush." Amber got the towel and wrapped it around her after saying 'Thank you' to the maid.

"I guess, it's really important for you to hurry like this. What is it?" Trish sat across her, and Tristan also sat beside her.

"I searched everywhere in the house. But, I didn't find Summer's diary. I know she won't throw it. So, I thought someone took it."

Trish was stupefied; shivers climbed up to her spine. "A-Are you saying that my speculation was right?"
