Chapter 42: Ch. 21 Part 2

Lin Yu'an unceremoniously went ahead and took the gun looking weapon from the yamen officer.

"This.. " 

"I just want to look, and they can have their weapons back right? Since they haven't done anything wrong to be monitored even in the magistrate's house" Lin Yu'an said with his eyes focused on the gun in his hand, he was only excited for a moment because now there was an obvious frown on his face. He couldn't help but be disappointed seeing the gun, it was really far worse to the ones he has used.

"But, this, we can only give back the weapons when they're about to sail off..." the yamen leader had a frown on his face due to his words.

"I'll be responsible for them, or if you're still against it, how about you station some people here in the house to watch them. And I'll hold onto this one for now, that will be okay, right?" Lin Yu'an insisted.

This put the yamen leader into a difficult situation not knowing what to say.
