Chapter 127: Chapter 127: Finding the Mining Site

William took the Swiss bank account number written by Claude on a note and called Philips, a dedicated manager at the Swiss National Bank. Within ten minutes, Claude received a call from the bank. Listening to the bank's account manager speak about the balance, Claude nodded with a smile, "Two hours to give you formal authorization, don't actually take down the Eiffel Tower."

"Of course, who would do that unless necessary. But if that situation does arise, you might as well take double our offer and retire," William said, mimicking the action of counting money with his fingers. "As long as you can help us solve the problem."

"God, you're as crazy as Brian, always thinking of drastic measures," Claude said gloomily. He had already taken William's money and knew that if he didn't deliver, both Brian and this guy in front of him would come after him. "We'll see when the time comes. I need to figure out how to report this to my superiors. Try not to make a big mess; I'm just a director, and I can't handle too much."

"Understood, we just want to find Ginny and her sister. I'll handle the rest as carefully as possible. Now, can you tell me where they are?" William said with a smile. He wasn't going to let his money be taken that easily.

"Alright, I know they'll be transporting the new captives to a construction site in Calais Port. Only my superior knows the exact location." Hearing this, William immediately left, with Claude calling after him, "Buddy, don't make a mess."

William waved back at Claude and said into the phone, "Brian, handle the operational authority in France. You know my situation; I can't afford to make legal mistakes."

"Understood. The operational authority will be easy to obtain, especially given the situation with the White Palace. Good luck, William. We're running out of time," Brian urged.

"No problem."

Three hours later, William received a call from Brian, informing him that the legal authorization for operations had been obtained, and William was free to act.

He found a car rental company, rented a Land Rover, and drove for several hours to Calais Port.

Calais Port was lively at night, with its streets lined with many prostitutes. William drove around several streets until he spotted an SUV parked near the prostitutes. Through the streetlights, he could see two burly men sitting in the car. Finally, having found something useful, William took out a walkie-talkie and a bug from his storage space, driving close to the SUV and using his Mage Hand to slip the bug under the seat through the open window.

He turned on the walkie-talkie and adjusted the channel, immediately hearing conversations in a language he didn't understand. William quickly called Sam in the USA, who had translation software.

After listening to the chatter for almost an hour, Sam spoke quickly, "Someone is on the phone saying they need to go to the construction site to handle some new arrivals that have caused problems."

Hearing that someone needed to go to the construction site to deal with the new arrivals, William knew they were talking about the kidnapped girls. He hung up the phone and followed the SUV.

Half an hour later, the car arrived at a large construction site. William parked on a high ground near the site and began observing with binoculars. It was a gravel mining site, filled with the sound of machinery. Many excavators were digging up gravel. In an open area behind the mining site, William saw a line of people in front of a makeshift house, with someone at the door collecting money before allowing them in.

This must be the temporary trading house set up by the Albanians, and there were probably many kidnapped girls inside.

After careful observation for a while, William noticed over twenty armed men around the site, many carrying AK-47s. No wonder the French police didn't want to deal with them; their weapons were no match for these guys.

Standing on the high ground, William mentally calculated how to sneak in. Most of the people on the site knew each other, and wearing a mask would definitely raise suspicion. If discovered, it would be disadvantageous to him to engage in a firefight in such an open area; he couldn't handle a dozen AKs.

However, there was a silver lining. The site was close to the sea, with high humidity in the air. In the city, he always worried about magic being caught on camera, but here, there were no such concerns. The Albanians, afraid of leaving evidence, wouldn't dare install cameras, which worked to William's advantage.

He delved into the System he hadn't checked in a while, looking for suitable spells. Soon, the site began to fog up.

Taking advantage of the thickening fog, William rolled on the ground, messed up his hair, and smeared mud on his face to look like a worker. He easily paid the fee and entered the makeshift house.

Scanning with his mental power, he found over twenty young girls inside, all lying dazed on cots, many nearly tortured to death. Seeing this hellish place ignited William's fury. He scanned but didn't find Ginny. However, he did find her jacket on a dazed girl.

William gently patted the girl's cheek and asked, "Where's the owner of this jacket? Where did you find this?"

The girl only muttered, "I want to go home. I want to go home."

Seeing needle marks on her arm, William knew she had been drugged into incoherence by the Albanians.

"What are you doing?" came a voice from the tent entrance. William turned to see a bearded man walking in cautiously. These guys were really vigilant. Seeing no movement from William for a few minutes, they immediately came to check.

William said to the bearded man, "Why are all these girls incoherent? Can't you get some better ones?" He stood up, pretending to be dissatisfied.

The bearded man replied warily, "Having these young girls is already good enough. For just 100 francs, what more do you want?"

"I should have gone to the port to find girls. At least I could talk to them. Buddy, I'll give you 200 francs if you find me some new arrivals." He then took out a 200-franc bill and handed it to the bearded man.

Seeing the 200 francs in front of him, the bearded man, right hand gripping a short gun, reached out with his left to take it. But as soon as his hand touched William's, he suddenly started shaking uncontrollably.

William quickly covered the bearded man's mouth and, moving his right hand to the man's back, twisted sharply, breaking his neck with a crack.

William smiled at the fallen bearded man, inwardly pleased with how useful the electric magic was. He thought to himself, "Let's see who dares to shake hands with me in the future, haha."
