Chapter 64: Out of Coma

The hospital ward walls felt colder than ever before. The aftermath of the shoot out evident in all three rooms that occupied the victims of the terrific day.

George smiled at his son, as he stuck out his little tongue with no worry in the world. His little angelic sound of his cry made his eyes swell with tears of joy.

George lifted his head looking at Charlotte who lay still on the bed still unconscious. She had done it, she had brought into the world a fruit of their love, George couldn't allow her to leave them. She had to fight for her life.

He gently squeezes her hand, praying that she made it out of the state she was in.

"Hey man, how is our little boy?" Jake asked, patting his friend's shoulder before taking the little baby in his arms.
