Chapter 21: An encounter with him

The familiar deep blue eyes taking over her whole system as if hypnotizing her as he stood glued to the ground.

She forced herself to look away and to Asher with accusing eyes.

"Selene I swear I didn't know he would come," Asher denied knowing about his brother's presence.

"Not right now Asher, let me go to the washroom first," Selene said going to the restroom.

She had to calm down. How did this happen her heart kept beating fast as her nerves seemed to be everywhere?

The driver packed before Asher's company, Jake had been here before, but it was just starting out. He loved what his brother had done with the place, wondering what could have motivated him.

He entered the hall as silence fell everyone looking at him in shock, others admiration. He knew he was well known, but this kind of reaction seemed overrated. A particular familiar shocked face caught his attention as he halted on his steps, feeling like he was dreaming.
