Chapter 146: Unexpected Result

Among the many things Sharon learned about Charles's background was that he'd been known to playboys. They didn't have much in common, she figured, and she was right. No amount of dieting could change her slender figure, bust, legs, and chocolate complexion. 

A few weeks previously, he had taken her out to play pool with him because he liked petite blondes with copious mascara and a predisposition to go braless.

That she was so different from what he was used to making her unsure if she was unhappy or if there was anything else going on between them. Believed that their relationship would be more special and lasting because she was unique to him. He seemed to enjoy spending time with her. If there were any other women there when they were together, he didn't seem to notice them at all. Before meeting her, he didn't have a roaming stare that befits a playboy.
