Chapter 127: 127. Elevator

"Thank you for taking me to the hospital and so sorry for all the trouble..." Arabella said in a low tone while trying not to look at him. 

It was already hard enough for her to have a tour from office to hospital and hospital to her apartment in his arms. They were not returning home that night because they didn't want to make anyone worry by her injury. 

Let's not mention the drama she caused in the hospital while the doctors took care of her wounds. Now she has a bandage wrapped around her hand and a patch on her legs. They will be fine within a few days. 

Now they were in the elevator of Arabella's apartment. Her pain has reduced so she was standing on her own. After they reached the building, Damien still picked her up and walked till the elevator with her in his arms. None of them said a single word between this. They were both lost in different thoughts.
