Chapter 98: FRIENDLY DINNER

While on board the private plane, my mind was occupied with thoughts of Angelou and her location. I kept on thinking about it, which preoccupied me from the time the trip commenced. There's something that deeply bothers me and I know that it isn't simply a hunch. 

I have a gut feeling that Angelou wasn't in Nice. If I am thinking the way she does, which I am certain of, then booking a flight to a certain place and living there wasn't a perfect plan of escape. Knowing the fact that we will be in search of her and will track her down to acquire her whereabouts, she must be elsewhere in France except Nice. 

Putting myself in her shoes where I wanted to elope and not to be traced by anyone, stating a certain city was just a diversion to mislead the people in search of me. Angelou was smart-witted and she must have thought of it earlier ahead. So most probably, a flight to Nice was just her stop over before going elsewhere.
