There was an open window in front of the stairs on the fourth floor. The pale moonlight shone through the window and onto the corridor, elongating their shadows.

Standing in the corridor, Chi Jiao and Beitang Lie soon heard a screeching sound. It sounded a little piercing, as if something sharp was rubbing against the ground. It made their necks turn cold.

"It's the teddy bear the little girl in the red dress was carrying. It's definitely not something good." As Chi Jiao spoke, she pulled out the pistol at her waist and pointed it at the teddy bear.
