Chapter 14: "The Arrest of The Operatives Commander"

"Steven Kenyetta has dismissed his charges and has refused to come to the station according to the 'Arresting Manual' we hold charges against you for 'Contempt towards the Law' please step out of the UPKF Headquarters with your hands in the air. We sincerely request the UPKF to help us arrest Steven Kenyetta for maintaining the law and cyber order in the Lithium Ero Zone.."

The message echoes through the halls of UPKF Headquarters, sending shockwaves through everyone in the vicinity. People gaze up in disbelief upon hearing the mention of such a great family name and the name "Steven" in particular. It is clear that Steven is no ordinary person - he is the head of all military operations carried out in the Lithium Ero Zone. As the commanding officer, he holds all the rights to carry out any operation in the Lithium Ero Planet.

In the DM 3000 Room, tensions were high as the message rang through the speakers. Nieman Coles couldn't resist a smirk, his previous smile turning into a mocking sneer. Camille, on the other hand, frowned at the news of the problems in the Lithium Ero Zone. Most of the Diplo Division Heads joined in Nieman's gloating at Steven's predicament. However, Arnold began to fidget nervously, clearly trying to come up with a plan to get Steven out of this mess.

Nieman spoke up first, his tone dripping with sarcasm. "Well, well, well, if it isn't our dear Steven, in a bit of a pickle, aren't we?"

Camille shot him a warning glance before turning to Arnold. "We need to come up with a plan, and fast. We can't just leave Steven out there to face those charges."

Arnold nodded in agreement. "I'm working on it, I'm working on it."

Before they could discuss it further more the message rang again "We hold charges against you for contempt towards the law," the message declares sternly, the voices carrying a note of warning. "Please step out of the UPKF Headquarters with your hands in the air."

This time even Nieman Coles is a little offended cause the Cyber Quantum Station is making a scene on front of the UPKF's Headquarters this is seen evidently as he storms out of the room.

As Nieman Coles steps down the futuristic spiral staircase, his face twisted with annoyance. He looks at the commotion in front of the UPKF's Headquarters and turns to the cars that were radiating the message, saying, "What's going on here? Do you not think this is excessive? Making a scene in front of the UPKF?"

The officers step out of their sleek, black sci-fi cars that emit a low hum as they idle. The officers themselves are dressed in black tactical gear, with their faces obscured by advanced helmets equipped with holographic visors and integrated communicators.

Each officer carries a weapon that looks sleek and futuristic in design, but deadly in function. The weapons emit a faint blue glow, indicating their energy-based nature. Their advanced technology and weaponry were evident, from the energy shields on their arms that looked more like invisible walls.

The officers approach Nieman Coles, their footsteps echoing off the sleek, metallic floors. One of them steps forward and speaks, his voice laced with authority, "We are here to apprehend Steven for not facing his charges. And don't you think it's a little excessive of you to make a headquarters in a place where you aren't welcome?" The officer smirks, clearly enjoying the power dynamic at play.

Nieman's face twists into a scowl, "We are the UPKF, and we have every right to be here. Now, if you'll excuse me, we have important matters to attend to." He turns on his heels and tries to walk up the spiral staircase.

But the officers are not so easily deterred. "I'm afraid we can't allow that, Mr. Coles," the same officer says, blocking Coles's path. "We have orders to take Steven into custody, and we won't be leaving without him."

Arnold, comes rushing behind followed by Steven, he steps forward, his hands raised in a placating gesture. "Gentlemen, there must be some misunderstanding here. Let's talk this out calmly and come to a peaceful resolution."

But the officers remain unmoved, their weapons trained on the group. "We've heard enough talk," the officer says, his finger inching towards the trigger. "Now, are you going to surrender Steven, or do we have to do this the hard way?"

The tension in the air was palpable as the police officers stood their ground, and Nieman Coles tried to hold his composure. "I assure you, officer, we have every right to be here," Nieman replied, his voice shaking with anger. "And we will not stand idly by while you try to apprehend one of our own without due process."

The officer chuckled. "Due process? Your Steven Kenyetta has evaded the charges without trying to clear them at our station. It's time he faces the consequences of his actions."

Just then, the sound of clicking cameras filled the air. The 'Lithium Ero Times' had arrived, and they were recording everything. The UPKF personnel in the headquarters stepped out to watch the show, knowing that this news was sure to make headlines internationally.

Nieman turned to face the cameras, trying to control his anger. "This is an outrageous violation of our rights," he declared. "The UPKF will not tolerate this kind of behavior from the police. We demand that you leave immediately."

The officer simply smirked. "We're not going anywhere until we have Steven Kenyetta in custody."

Steven spoke up this time his voice was heavy with resignation as he spoke, "You can apprehend me. I have no obligations."

Arnold stepped forward, pleading with him, "Steven, there must be something we can do. We can fight this."

Steven shook his head wearily, "It's enough, Arnold. You can tell them about the 'Quantum Intrusion' charges, but they will still apprehend me for 'Contempt of Law'."

As Steven calmly surrenders himself to the officers, they quickly spring into action and begin to handcuff him. The officers move swiftly, expertly securing Steven's arms behind his back.

The holographic visors get to work displaying Steven's information while scanning him.

Meanwhile, the reporters from the Lithium Ero Times snap pictures of the scene, the flashes of their cameras illuminating the space. The sound of their shutters fills the air, creating a chaotic symphony of clicks and whirs.

Arnold watches as Steven is led away, his jaw clenched tightly in frustration. He can feel the anger seeping through his veins, his hands shaking with the effort of controlling it. He takes a deep breath and tries to focus on the task at hand.

As the officers escort Steven towards the door, the UPKF personnel feel a sense of oneness. They shout slogans, demanding that Steven be released. The officers try to keep them at bay, but the crowd continues to press in closer.

Arnold steps forward, his voice rising above the noise of the crowd. "Please, everyone, calm down. Let the officers do their job. Steven will have his day in court."

The personnel slowly begin to make their way back into the headquarters, the anger in their voices giving way to resignation. The officers manage to get Steven into their car and drive off, leaving the headquarters in a quiet, tense silence.

As Steven gets seated in the back of the police cruiser, one of the officers pulls out a space-themed card and reads aloud, "As a citizen of the universe, you have the right to remain silent," the officer said in a cold tone, "anything you say can and will be used against you in the courts of the cosmos."

Steven looks out the window at the passing futuristic buildings, his mind racing with thoughts about his situation. The officers continue their conversation in the front seat, occasionally glancing back at him through the rearview mirror. The cruiser glides smoothly through the bustling streets of Lithium Ero Zone, passing by hovercars and neon signs advertising the latest in space technology.

The card with his rights stays with him, a constant reminder of the seriousness of his situation. The officers treat him with cold detachment, as if he's just another criminal they've apprehended. Steven closes his eyes and takes a deep breath, trying to calm his nerves and steel himself for the upcoming trial.

Steven sees the Cyber Quatum station looking over in the distance and recollects the last time he saw it.

The Cyber Quantum Station is a massive, imposing structure that looms over the landscape with its sleek, futuristic design. The station is built from a combination of glossy, silver metals and transparent, shimmering glass that seems to glow with an otherworldly energy. The structure is arranged in a series of interlocking cubes, each one housing a different department or section of the station.

As one approaches the entrance, they are greeted by a towering set of double doors made from a dark, reflective metal that seems to absorb all light around it. The doors slide open silently, revealing a long, sleek hallway that seems to stretch on endlessly into the distance. The walls are lined with holographic displays that flicker with data and images of the cosmos, providing a constant reminder of the station's mission to protect the planet from quatum threats both foreign and domestic.

As one makes their way deeper into the station, they pass through a series of high-tech labs and offices, each one brimming with cutting-edge technology and bustling with activity. Everywhere you look, there are robots, holograms, and advanced computer systems at work, each one contributing to the station's mission in its own unique way.

The centerpiece of the station is a massive control room, dominated by a curved wall of screens that display real-time data from across the planet. Here, the station's crew works tirelessly to monitor and respond to any threats to the safety and security of the planet.

As the police cars holding Steven approached the Cyber Quantum Station, Steven noticed something peculiar.

Three rebel vehicles with the bold insignia of "Lithium Ae Independeco Si" raced down the main road leading to the Cyber Quantum Station. The drivers were skilled, dodging through the traffic with ease. The cars themselves were custom-made, with sleek, aerodynamic designs and black matte finishes.

As they approached the station, the rebels revved their engines, signaling their intent to crash into the building. The station's defense systems activated, with automated turrets rising from the ground and targeting the incoming vehicles.

The rebels, however, were prepared for this. As the turrets opened fire, the drivers expertly swerved their cars, avoiding the deadly bullets. One of the rebels activated a device on their dashboard, and suddenly the car's windows transformed into impenetrable shields, deflecting the bullets with ease.

The cars smashed into the station's entrance, sending debris flying everywhere.

A person slowly comes out of the smashed vehicle and says only one dialogue :

"Long time no see Commander."

"Ohh for fuck's sake no-…."
