Chapter 109: Vs the Sovereign Merman

Jamie's eyes narrowed as he tore open the space beside him and pulled out his weapon of Spatial Destruction.

"To think you were descended from Angels and Demons…your ancestors must have really fooled around."

A halo of dark light appeared behind the head of the Merman, but he remained silent as he glared at Jamie while rousing his energy.

Silence pervaded the area for a moment, and in the next, Jamie vanished.

'Where did he…behind?!'

The man tried to turn around but he wasn't fast enough to do so before Jamie released a slash of spatial energy that collided with the floating Halo on his back.

The force knocked him forward a bit, but he quickly regained his bearings and coated his arms in the same dark light as the halo, crossing them in front of his chest to block Jamie's follow-up sword slash.
