Chapter 23: The zombie-Demons
The student took what Collins said as the truth and they forgot about their true thought.
Hosea turned back and saw Lily smiling happily. Hosea looked at herself and then back to the water. If she jumps in, she was going to be exposed. And if she doesn't, Dela would be exposed also, because he is connected to the water, and seeing that the water turned blue made her shiver more.
She didn't care about anything. she was going to jump. She is his guardian and he should be her top priority. Hosea jumped into the water and Luca gasped.
" Lily, get everyone out of here". Luca spoke into her head and she obeyed as her mother as command her.
Asher and Hassan came there.
" Hmmm.. let's make sure she doesn't return". Asher said.
" Everyone, get out of here". Hassan said and the student started running away together with those who were not even humans, but because they don't want to get into that fight they run away.
" Someone called the school guards!". Asher said.
Hassan snickered. " Good thing that we've taken care of them". He said and Asher laughed.
" What are you guys doing?". Luca asked as he saw Hassan and Asher throwing black balls into the water.
" What do you think". Asher said as he faced Luca with a black ball.
Luca moved back. " Hey, stay back don't you dare come close to me". Luca warned but that was just funny to them.
Asher chuckled. " Hassan, keep throwing the balls into the water, make sure Hosea does not come out of there alive!". He ordered.
" With pressure". He answered.
Asher continued walking towards Luca who kept on moving back.
"Luca, why are you moving back? Why are you scared of me? Asher teased.
"Your eyes are pitch black, you are..a devil ". Luca said, still moving back.
"You're smart". Asher said and wanted to throw the ball at him when king froze it.
Asher turned to see king who smirked at him.
"Why don't you take someone your size?". King asked.
"How dare you stopped me!". Asher asked with his eyes darkened and faced king. He threw a dark ball at king but he blocked it with a crystal wall.
. "Have you wondered why they call me king?". King asked as crystal spikes flew out of nowhere and started heading towards Asher's direction.
Asher dodged them all like it was nothing. "Devils don't die easily". He said and hit his leg on the ground. The ground shook and black snakes emerged from underground.
King gasped. "Urgh! They are disgusting". He exclaimed.
"Be careful when you fight with me, king. I will take your greatest fear and use them all against you. I'm a devil of nightmares". He said and the snakes starts climbing king's body. No matter how he tried to stop them, they only get worst.
King screamed and Luca ran to help but Asher grabbed him by the neck. "All of you disgusted me. You call yourself demons yet you are powerless". Asher said and hissed.
"Lily!". Luca called and Lily appeared immediately he called her. She wasn't around the whole while. She was taking the student out like he instructed but appeared when she heard him call her and got angry at Asher when she saw him holding him by the neck.
"Stop, Asher!". She yelled.
"It's obvious that you remember me even though you are under a spell. How am I to help you then?". He asked.
"Let him go". Lily ordered.
"Sure". Asher said and threw Luca away. Luca fell to the ground, hurting himself. Lily levitated to help but Asher threw a ball at her leg, making her fell down.
Luca muttered a spell and the floor became too smooth as Asher fell. Luca stood up in anger.
"Okay Asher, now you have closed the line boundary, Mother!". He shouted his mother's name and she appeared in an instant.
Immediately she appeared, the wind she brought flew away the snakes from king and he sighed on relief then run to hide behind her back.
"Do you have a death wish, Asher?". The Queen yelled.
"I should be the one asking you that question" Asher said and dark smoke surrounded him.
" Should I come and lend a hand". Hassan who as busy throwing black balls into the water asked.
"No, I have got this". Asher said.
Mr. Ling appeared.
"What is going on here?". He asked as he saw the tension everywhere.
"Stay out of this, no one hurts my son, and go scott free". The Queen said.
" All of you should stop, there are humans in this school". Mr. ling said.
" That's why it should have been a supernatural school instead ". The Queen said.
" She is right, Ling". You know where there are two or more supernaturals, there is likely to be a fight. Take all the humans and find their place, they don't belong here". Asher said.
" I will do that, but please, and please don't fight today. You can't keep stopping time and freezing the humans". Mr Ling said.
" Why don't you look at your daughter before telling us that". The Queen said and pointed at Lily who was on the floor. He ran to Lily.
" What happened?". He asked when he saw a little hole in her leg.
" I got hurt". Lily said.
" You are hurt by a devil? This isn't going to heal fast. Why will you involve yourself in a fight? You are the only one I have ". He complained.
" I'm sorry dad". Lily said as she winced in pain.
The Queen sent a huge puff of smoke in Asher's direction and he blocked it with dark smoke and the power tussle between them.
" Get him, mother. Don't hesitate to banish him from existence". Luca said.
Asher used all his powers to fight her, but who can be compared to the great Queen of the demons, the one who was even the wife of the devil they were under his demand. The Queen succeeded in rendering him powerless.
Asher fell to the ground, drained of power and energy. Hassan came to lift him.
" Forget about me and finish that girl off..king Drake won't be happy if we fail, and you know what comes next". He managed to say.
Hassan with his foolishness went back to the pool and kept on throwing the black balls into it.
"Are you all ready to give up and accept defeat"? The Queen asked.
" Not yet, I may not be able to fight you, but my minions will". He said and other demons which looked like zombies emerged from the ground.
" You can go and take some rest, my Queen, I and Luca will take care of these things". King said, pointing at those disgusting, horrible things in front of him.
The Queen smiled and disappeared.
" Come on Luca, this should be a piece of cake for you". King said as he put on his gloves.
" Wait! Don't tell me is hand-in-hand combat". Luca said with a look of disgust.
He couldn't imagine touching those zombie-like demons with his bare hands. They look dirty and slimy. King rolled his eyes and threw a pair of gloves on him.
" These gloves contain ivy poison. Touch it with them and they will melt". King said as he advanced towards them.
" You know how much I disgust zombies". Luca pouted.
" I wonder how you became Queen Lucinda's son. The only thing you know how to do perfectly is to scheme others. When it comes to fighting you will be acting as if you are mentally sick". King said.
"Just shut it! I will fight them". Luca said and joined king.
"Is that an ivy poison glove? Asher, don't let them touch you with them!". Hassan yelled and Asher run away from there.
Mr. Ling sighed, vows to himself to sperate the school for the good of the human student, he can't keep on lying to the government about dead issues every single year. He was going to make a supernatural school and then a human school. He thought then looked at what was happening in before his eyes.
All the zombie-like demons melted and Asher groaned in anger.
"You demons are annoying!". He yelled.
"We did it!". Luca said as he tried to hugged king but he pushed him off.
"It will be okay if you celebrate alone". King said and Luca glared at him.
"Mm.. see you, who the hell do you think you are? You should rather thank your stars for a whole prince like me trying to hug you". Luca said and king scoffed.
"You know melting the zombies won't kill them right?". Mr. Ling said as if he knew what he was saying, the zombies who were just melted reformed again, and this time they were the most disgusting thing on earth. They cackled and glared at Luca and then king. Their eyes burnt in fury and mockery smirks appeared on their lips towards the pathetic demons who were shocked to see them.
"You see! That is why I said I hate zombies!". Luca almost shouted.
King and Luca started moving back. "If melting them won't kill them, then what!". King said.
"Jesus cross from the temple". Luca suggested, though he wasn't sure they can go for it.
"We are demons, Luca. Entering the temple is like committing suicide". King said.
"We the vampires can't either ". Lily said.
"Then who can?". Luca asked while Asher laughed at their confusion.
They all look around each other and exclaimed.
"Hosea!!".
"Hmm... haha you think so, what about that Dela?". Asher asked with his funny face towards them.
"Dela can't because he hasn't learned how to control his pure magic powers yet, but he only has the demon side. The only light in our mist is Hosea!". King said and they all turned in the direction of Hassan who was still busy throwing black balls into the pool.
"Stop!!". They all shouted.
"Don't you dare stop, Hassan. Keeping on throwing till she dies. If she lives, is bad news to us". Asher said and Hassan increase his pace.
Meanwhile
Hosea was still in the water dodging balls that keeps on coming into the water. One of the balls hit her and it deactivated her powers. She could breathe under but couldn't transform because of the ball that just hit her. That gave Hassan the upper hand. Hassan jumped for joy when he saw that Hosea couldn't fight back. He smirked as he rolled another ball in his hands. He threw it straight at her but couldn't get her this time around because something blocked it. He saw that it was Dela.
" Are you okay Hosea?". He asked and help her.
" Forget about me, where were you? How are you doing? Are you hurt anywhere?". She asked all in one breath and Dela looked at her.
" You worry too much". Dela teased.
" I have every reason to worry. Now, tell me are you sure you are all right.". She asked again.
" I said forget about me, I'm fine". He said and formed a ball himself and threw it up the water, it hit Hassan and he froze.
" Dela, it's dangerous up there. Move aside, I have to make sure that you are safe and sound ". She said trying to get up.
" Hey, where are you going? You are already hit and I'm not going to let you get hit again". He said.
" No, is my duty to protect and guard you".
" And what if you are hit and loss strength, how then are you going to protect and guard me?". He said and swam up.
Dela got out of the water and everyone gasped.
He turned and looked at Hassan who was laying on the floor.
" So, it was you who hurt Hosea right?". He asked in a tone that sent chills down his spine. Dela melt the ice on him.
Hassan gulped and moved back.
" Hosea is hurt? That's good news!". Asher exclaimed and Dela faced him.
" So, this is who you truly are, Asher. You are nothing but a pretender and liar". Dela snapped and appeared in front of him causing him to move back.
" What! Do you think anyone around you is good? Then you must be dreaming". Asher scoffed
"Bravo! Wow". Dela clapped his hands.
" Well I'm not here to exchange words with anyone, I'm here to teach someone how to play around with those I care about". He said.
" And who is that?". Asher asked and Dela faced Hassan's direction.
Hassan moved back in fright. Dela disappeared and appeared in front of Hassan. He was just about to beat him when he heard them call his name.
" Dela!". He turned only to see those zombie-like demons climbing Luca and king. They shouted for his help.
" Dela please help us!". Luca said annoying Dela more.
" Who just ask for my help?". He turned his back and faced them.
" Please Dela!". King said.
" You have no shame at all, Luca. I have only one person to save and that is Hosea". He said and was about to jump into the water when King said.
" Okay, even if you won't help us what about lily?". King asked and he quickly turned to look for Lily and he saw her laying on the floor. He rushed to her and try to touch her but she refused.
" Don't you dare touch me, stay away from me"? She said.
" Lily". His father calls angry.
" What happened to you Lily". Dela asked.
" Is none of your business". Lily answered.
" It was those things over here who hurt her, and now they are turning it to all of us in this school. It is only Hosea who can stop them!". King said, still fighting with those horrible things.
" Hosea!?". Dela asked.
"Yes ". King nodded.
Dela jumped back into the water and held Hosea.
"Are you alright?". He asked her and she smiled. Telling him through her smile that she was fine.
"Don't worry I will help you swim up. But there are some kind of zombie-like demons up there . Horrible and slimy ones". Dela said.
"Did they hurt you? are you alright". She asked worriedly.
Dela chuckled. "Relax, I'm all fine. Now lend on me, let me help you out". He said and wrapped his hands around her waist. Hosea stiffened for a while then he laughed.
"Come on, Hosea don't tell no one has ever touched you like this before". He laughed.
" You're the first person to touch me like that". She answered and he laughed.
"Like seriously!". He exclaimed. She nodded her head in agreement and he smiled before leading her out of the water. They came out of the water together and Luca sighed in relief.
I wonder why he was relieved on seeing those he hates soo much.
