Savvy and I snag a spot along a discarded shed. It's to the right of the stage - a rear deck where they moved all the equipment. Last week the band played out of the garage, but there was only a handful of us, so the tight area made sense. But with the scene tonight, a half-acre backyard seems like the right idea.

Jordan takes a seat in front of his instrument, spinning his drumsticks through his fingers. He plays a quick beat, and few people holler their excitement. Some whistle.

Sean plugs in his guitar, and a loud blare emits, summoning everyone from the front and sides of the house to the back. He plays a few strings, and I feel people crowding in around us. It's getting tighter out here, even with all this space. It felt claustrophobic before, but with all the concert-goers mashed together in one area, it's almost too much. I look to Savvy, and she winks, then motions up ahead.
