I need to escape.

Since I can't do that, a shower is the next best thing. I took one earlier, but the hot water helps take my mind off things, like the fact that everyone knows who I am, or that Sean said what he did. And it's out there now, for people to believe or not believe.

And our yearbook pictures!

I can't believe they dug up our yearbook pictures!

I close my eyes and put my face in the water. Maybe I won't ever leave this shower.

The door opens.

Alex walks in and stares at the steamy glass. I'm not sure if I want him in here, or if I want more time to myself, but before I can decide, he tugs his shirt over his head. He kicks off his jeans next and then his boxer-briefs follow. Stepping into the shower, he closes the door behind him, and for a minute I just stare as the water trickles down his chest and tight stomach.
