Yesterday, Ellie received an invitation letter from the Empress Dowager. It stated that the Empress Dowager wanted to meet with Grand Duke Cassius' fiancée.

So today, she prepared herself with the help of Sera and Lyra.

Ellie chose a dress that was not too overly luxurious yet not too simple. She wore a dress that looked suitable for the daughter of a duke.

When she was ready, she left her room and walked towards her father's study.

"Father, I am going to the royal palace. The Empress Dowager sent me an invitation letter."

"Ellie, if you're going to the royal palace, go with Ava."

'What the hell?'

"Why should I take her, Father?"A clear dissatisfaction appeared on her face.

Seeing the expression on his daughter's face, Duke Ashford sighed. "She is also going to the royal palace. You can accompany her."

"Why is she going there?"

"She is answering the Crown Prince's summons." Duke Ashford replied with a grimace.
