Chapter 3: Chapter 2: Eternia
*Ben
Ben walked around the jungle, he spend some of the night having a conversation with moss man who gave him the rundown of his new surrounding, he was on a planet named primus (funny enough) that was on some other dimension all together, in the Kingdome of Eternia, there were some different species here but also humans according to moss man.
Ben finally made his way out of the jungle and to a field, there were some strange animals who seemed to be a cross between a rhino a cow and wiled boar grazing there.
Ben obsorved then as they ate grass in peace so he decided it would be smart to leave them alone.
"Hey what are you doing here?" He heard someone call out to him, he turned around and saw some kind of farmer run up to him with a pitchfork in his hand.
Ben soon said "sorry, i sort of got lust in there," he pointed to the jungle right behind him. "I just got out, I don't want to Couse any trouble would you mind pointing me to the nearest city?"
The farmer scratched his chin and said "well no you haven't harmed any of my unulops(A/N check out masters of the universe season 1 episode 23), and seen as you just came out of the evergreen forest I'll give you a break," then he pointed to a direction and said "the royal capital is that way about three days on foot, shorter on mount back."
Ben nodded at him said thanks and started walking, after he was convinced he made enough distance he turned himself to jetray and flew the rest of the way.
Soon enough he saw the golden palace and after an hour he landed near the gates, he didn't want to raise any suspicion of him just yet to the authorities, so he went to pass through the gates.
He kept his head low, and noticed that the clothes he was wearing were completely different from anyone else there.
Somehow he managed to slip through the guards amongst the crowd, he went to the surrounding market to check out some local clothes, although they seem to speak English, the written language was something else, ben was pretty well versed in a lot of alien languages but he didn't recognized this one.
The omnitrix took over his eyes and translated it for him, since he didn't had local currency he had an idea he wanted to try out, he snook his way to a secluded alleyway and after choosing an alien he pressed the omnitrix.
With a flash of green light ben was gone and in his place stood a giant crystal green alien "Dimondhead!" Ben called out, then he focused and turned one of his fingers to a beautiful Dimond neckless.
Ben went to a booth that seemed to have it all, raging from jewellery to cloths, as ben stood there a merchant came him and asked "seeing something you like?" Ben looked at him, he was of medium hight, brownish tan skin, he had a small beer gut or whatever they drank in this place and rings of all metals on each finger.
Ben turn to him "I don't know yet," ben looked at the cloths and asked the man "what would recommend for me to wear Mr...?" The merchant smiled and said "Ralvenor and I take it you are not from around this parts Mr...?"
It was ben's turn to answer "Tennyson, ben Tennyson." He said as he reached his hand forward for the merchant to shake.
Ralvenor gave ben a long look and after they shook hands he said "I hate to ask this but before I start selling you anything I must ask... Do you even have money to pay with?" Ben looked at him and said "well not in local currency, but I thought I could trade you something for some clothing and maybe even a place to stay the night?"
The merchant pursed his lips while playing with the ring on his thumb, ben thought that he asked the man for too much considering they only just met and he was clearly a stranger in this land.
Then Ralvernor said "it depends on what you have to offer in trade." Ben smiled and put his hand in his pocket and took out the Dimond neckless he had made.
The merchant's eyes lit up and ben new he had struck gold (so to speak), Ralvenor reached his hand for the neckless but stopped himself before turning to ben and asked "may i?" Ben smiled and nodded.
Ralvenor took the neckless and examined it in his hand, after a few seconds he told ben "come with me." While motioning to the store behind the booth, ben went after him.
He saw the merchant taking out a box from behind his table, when he opened it ben knew what it was, a jewellery verification kit.
He put one of those magnifying glass jewellers usually do and examined the neckless further, after 10 minutes he looked at ben and asked "what did you want for this again?" Ben answered "some cloths and a place to stay the night."
Ralvenor looked dumbfounded by his answer, and he asked again "and that's all you want for it?" When ben nodded he said "surely you jest? That can not be all you want for a jewellery such as this?"
That made ben interested, in his world and universe Diamondhead's diamonds were not worth a lot, but that seemed to be a different case in this place.
Ben looked at the man and just shrugged to Ralvenor's surprise and frustration, he gave ben a look and shook his head while saying "no, by my integrity as a merchant i can not pay you this little for it, i know it is a deal of a life time but still..."
He went to shelf and pull out a huge bag of coins, and to a smaller one and filled it up.
After that he took ben's measurements and gave him what seemed to ben like really expensive cloths but he could still move comfortably in them per his request.
After that Ralvenor took him to a local inn that he said was called the dragon's tooth, he helped him rent a room there and before they parted ways the merchant said "if you happen to find this sort of gem again please do not hesitate to tell me, you know where to find me." And he left ben alone.
When he left ben started to examen his room, he couldn't figure out his environment.
He sat on the bed, looked at the omnitrix and asked "Azmuth are you there?" The a.i hologram appeared and said "yes ben, I am here." Ben asked "have you took a reading of this place?" The hologram nodded and said "yes, but i am very confused by this place, on the one hand very advanced technology, on the other they still use swords ang judging by the high levels of mana... Magic."
Ben nodded to himself and thought about how the people dressed in the city, let alone the guards' Armor, it wad a mixture medieval Armor and high tech weaponry.
Ben said to the a.i "it's going to be a challenge to fit in." The a.i nodded and said "yes indeed."
