Chapter 300: In the Blink of an Eye

Gustav was happy that David asked him his opinion about his future. Therefore, he could not answer hastily. He had to think for a while. He looked toward the sea, and maybe that's why he didn't pay attention to the movement by the rocks.

The beach where they were taking their walk was sandy and clear, but in places a group of rocks cut into it adding variety to the landscape. The place was not crowded, but not entirely desolate either. In the distance they saw local residents and groups of tourists. Humans were not unusual here. That's why Gustav was not alert.

He was to painfully regret it.

Hurricane was the first to react. He jerked, stepped back, then jerked sideways.

Gustav reached toward him with his hand, but Euphrates also scurried away.
