David wanted very much to go home, but he understood that he had to give testimony. He also understood Olaf Meiden's insistence on hospital. Gustav was battered, and even before that, he had been hit by a stun gun and kicked in the stomach, so his body might have suffered more than it appeared at first glance. He, too, was worried about Gustav and, with a sigh, thought that Meiden, who was defending himself from hospitalization, would be more co-operative if he had his boyfriend around.
