"A proposal..."
Gustav sensed David's heart beating harder. He knew that his boyfriend hadn't planned it at all. He couldn't push, especially now that Meiden's situation was so unclear.
"No, not now. Please. Let's leave this topic," Gustav withdrew from David's arms. "I would like nothing more, but you have to find out everything first."
"Then tell me!" he insisted with persistence in his dazzlingly beautiful eyes.
"But if I tell you..."
Again, the same panic as after the party gripped him. Just as he was approaching the possibility of confiding in David, terror stung his heart. He helplessly shook his head.
"You think when I find out, I'll leave you, right? Gustav, what could you have done that was so terrible? Did you kill a man?"
The question, asked half-jokingly, half-seriously, struck Meiden like a whip. Whatever the case, he had to answer.
Thus ends the adventure of David, who learned to love, and Gustav, who believed in love again. A story to which I devoted a year and a half of my life. In truth, much more, since the story functioned for a while as a light novel, but was rewritten by me to meet the requirements of a web novel.
I am grateful to everyone who made it to the end with my characters. I hope the story brought you some pleasure. If so, please write a review, just a few words will be enough. Read my other books. I think you will like them, too. And keep an eye on me, because I don't back down from writing.
Once again, my sincere thanks.
See you around!
