Chapter 12: Am I Now The Villain?

(Garasu POV)

This is bad, this is really bad I dont know how strong he is but for him to scare Kegawa he must be a monster. However just to make sure I quietly whispered to her ear as not to make Shikumo angry "how dangerous is he?"

Then to my utter horror she said while slightly shaking "w, w, we,re going to die." I stiffened when I heard this and looked up at the man with a new felling of inevitable dread.

Now that I knew that just by being here we are risking our lives I urgently said to Ken "That man's dangerous, we need to leave now." Ken then looked at me first confused then after he realized I wasn't kidding he looked at the man with a serious face.

Then I heard a voice that sent shivers down my spine as the man said "Hm, thinking of leaving so soon?" He then spun his finger around as the door behind us slammed shut. Oh no he heard us, how!

I hurried to the door and tried to turn the knob but it was locked. Then Ken used his sword and slashed at the door. There was not even a scratch, Shikumo must have infused the wood with magic to make it stronger. That meant we could escape and we are trapped with him.

"Now that you know who my friends are I can't let you leave, now can I." The man said with a malicious smile. Kegawa was right we are going to die here. Before any of us could reason with the man he said "Well I'm tired I'll just deal with you guys latter, see you later." As he said that he snapped his fingers and I heard something under my feet.

I looked down and the floor boards were splitting apart forming what looked to be teeth. Then the open up and ate Ken, then Kegawa and it saved me for last. As I was falling I looked on Shikumo's face and he had a smile of pure joy, a smile I'll never forget.

After I was eaten by the floor I fell down in a entirely black room. No, it was more like a void as no matter how long I walked I couldn't find a wall, even the floor I was standing on wasn't solid.

At first I was worried as I would die of thirst and hunger without any food or water. Then I realized when I concentrated I could feel a large and strong amount of mana flow to me from an outside source, I had never felt such power mana before. The mana was so abundant that it substituted water, food, and sleep, it was even enough to stop aging.

At first I was happy but then I realized if the man never came back or just forgot about me and my party we all could be stuck in here for eternity. I was at his mercy and I couldn't do anything about it.

(Kumo POV)

[Skill parallel mind deactivated]

Wha, What happened?! I had a splitting headache which has so far been the most pain I have felt in this world. Then I started to remember what happened. It was like remembering a dream which was strange as I was awake during the events that occurred.

Now what did I think when I saw me put three innocent people into the dark abyss? Wow I looked so cool I looked like the coolest villain to ever live! Wait, does that make me a villain?

Well technically that wasn't me but my new alter ego Mr. Shikumo. Based on his 'new' name I can confirm that it is me with a personality change but it is still a little scary not being in control.

Oh, I almost forgot about Korosu and gang, and more importantly the cat. I then walked to the hatch and said "The coast is clear you can come out now." They all came out and made a sigh of relief.

Korosu then handed me the cat and said"What happened, where did they go, I couldn't hear anything down there." Me being caught off gaurd said nervously "I said that you guys went out the back door and they just left." Korosu raised a eyebrow at what I just told him and said "I don't believe you but ether way thank you for hiding us." My body finally just started to relax but he then said "By the way we will have a long talk about this later next time, ha." I felt my hairs stand up as he said that.

"Well we've caused more than enough trouble so we will be on our way now." Then they left leaving me with the cat. Speaking of the cat she needs a name. I think I will call her Razuri. Then I said out loud to the cat "Your name is now Razuri, do you like it? I don't know if she understood what I said but she made a cheerful meow the rubbed against my leg.

I then sat down and put 'my' new cat in my lap and petted her throughout the rest of the night.
