The young woman furrowed her brows. Not knowing what to reply. She smiled. Thinking of a rejection which could make this male lead walk away in tears and disappointment. But before she could even think, a strong pain hit her.

Causing her to gulp as she started sweating a lot. It felt like someone was squeezing her heart tightly. Mara's hand rose. Covering her chest while biting her lower lip in agony. What was happening? Why did this pain suddenly pop up out of nowhere?

Lucas's smile dropped at the sight of the young woman suddenly covering her chest in pain. He thought she was thinking of a way to reject him but no response came up. She just bit her lower lip like a person in pain. The man began to panic.
