Chapter 2: Little Autumn
As the three of them barge in with a loud bang the baby then immediately cried louder than before.
A massive sound wave then erupted as the baby cried. The sound wave hit all the people inside the room.
All the servants died, the midwife was barely able to stand up, the middle-aged man suddenly waved his hand and created a barrier to protect him and the children while the mother glared at the man and then slowly sway the baby around to calm him down whilst singing a lullaby.
The middle-aged man had an embarrassed expression while the children were looking at the baby with amazement and fear as they never saw a baby that can kill with a mere cry.
The baby's cry slowly subsided and the little guy then had fallen asleep. The woman then chanted "The land of comfort and sleep, let my child fall into a sweet slumber."
A white fog then covered the baby and the little guy has fallen into a deep slumber.
The woman then turned her sight to the man and said with a cold tone.
"Why did you suddenly loudly barged in? Look at the mess you made, the smell of blood is gonna linger around in the room for a couple of days. Do you know what will happen to the baby if he sleeps in an environment filled with blood?"
The man dropped his head and said "I'm sorry my dear wife, I was just scared by the sudden sound of breaking glass and the screams of ghe servant. I thought you were being attacked, so I hurriedly came to the room. I will have the mage apprentices clean the room."
The woman's eyes then soften and said in a gentle voice "Good, at least you only came in because you were worried for me. I thought you were being reckless again."
The man let out an embarrassed laugh while scratching his cheek.
"Okay, move along now I need to feed the baby and he needs sleep, I will see you tomorrow and let you hold the baby. Also prepare a bigger sleeping space for the baby and a sturdier material to handle the baby's weight." The woman said in a light voice.
As she was talking an old butler suddenly came in and said while making a slight bowing gesture "Your majesty, someone is looking for you and crown prince, first princess you need to get back to your studies and training. The royal mage and knights are patiently waiting for you."
"Okay Dhan, I will let the children go back to their studies and also tell the royal craftsman to build a bigger and stronger crib. If possible use the Amethyst wood as materials." The man said to the butler.
"Understood your majesty, I will have the craftsman make what you ordered," Dhan said while doing a bow to the man. He then turned around and walked into the corridor.
"Richard," The woman said to him.
Richard turned to his wife with a confused face and asked "What is it, Sophia?"
Sophia then pointed at the children behind him and said "Bring Kenneth and Jean to their tutors and have all the maids in Autumn's room be placed into the royal gardens."
Richard looked at her wife speechless as she already named the child without him, he can only smile wryly and follow his wife's instructions.
He then grabbed the children gently and have them wave goodbye to their mother and little brother.
Sophia also waved back gently to them, she then looked at her son and look at him with a shocked face.
She never thought that her son's cry alone was enough to kill a level 40 warrior much less kill two dozens of them. A level 40 warrior is strong enough to punch a boulder to dust yet these strong warriors were killed with a mere cry from her little son.
She even felt a slight sting of pain in her internal organs when he cried so loudly. That was the thing that shocked her the most as she was a strong being at the level of a Tier 6 Angel Protector.
But aside from the initial shock, she was full of expectations for her son's future achievements. She was looking forward to the growth of her strong adorable little monster.
2 years later...
'Hmmm... I can finally start training and get stronger. I wonder what strong foes am I gonna hunt in this fourth life of mine. From what I observed my mother is strong, strong enough to kill a grade D grade monster and that's saying something as she was not even a hunter. As for my father... he is weak, weaker than a grade F monster. Damn, my father is a wuss in my parent's marriage. My elder brother Kenneth is 12-years old and my mother said that my brother is strong enough to face off level 60 warriors...my sister is also strong enough to face off level 55 opponents. Hmmm... my mother also said that there are main classes and subclass for each individual, one can only have 1 main class and a maximum of 4 subclasses in their entire life. This world is getting more intriguing to me, I look forward to my future hunts.' The little boy thought to himself as a massive amount of monsters, behemoths, demons, dragons, devils, titans, leviathans, and gods suddenly appeared behind him either roaring or screaming with battle intent.
The little boy then restrained his aura and said to himself "Wait just a bit more my friends, our hunt will begin soon. You guys just need to be patient."
The image behind him then slowly disappeared and seeped into the boy's body. As the image seeped into his body the roars and screams sounded within his body until nothing more can be heard.
This is one of his abilities in his first reincarnation, Hunter's Soul. It's a passive ability that helps him get stronger each time he successfully hunts any strong beings. For each soul his physical prowess and physical capability will be strengthened by 10 percent and his soul and mind will be protected by the monster or any strong beings that he hunted.
The strengthening of his physical prowess and physical capability depends on how strong his current body is. The stronger his body is, the stronger the effect of the strengthening.
So basically, his body is the base damage and the strengthening effects are the multipliers.
